Here is some more of Shirley's work. Pictures are clickable and will take you to a larger image.

These are a variation of a design from The Beadworkers Guild book of Bracelets. Shirley also did one like this for the rec.crafts.beads bracelet swap.

A necklace to match a bracelet like the one's above.

This is the old beadwork that Shirley got and recreated. The original white/blue is over 80 years old. The beads used are two sizes of seed beads. They are like donuts really. Flatter than normal seed beads. The end is tapered using first the small beads then going on to the larger.. The bead sizes are 11 and 13/14. The original thread looks like a linen one. The portion of smaller beads keeps it round shape but drops flat in the larger beads. Shirley used a number 8 perle cotton to string her sample.

Shirley's salt cellar. The actual size is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

Shirley made this for her granddaughter Emma. The stitch is worked circular, and the triangle look is dependent on where you increase the beads.

Shirley made this one for her other granddaughter Sarah.

This is done with free patterns from the internet. Done with garnets and SS beads.

Another free internet design. Done in crystals and seed beads.

A handmade parchment craft greeting card

Another handmade parchment craft greeting card.

This beautiful beaded pen was done in size 15 seed beads. It will be given to Shirley's GP to thank her for the way she has looked after Shirley the past year.
