Horse Days

I am from the tri-city area called Kentukianna.
Which includes Louisville, New Albany, And Jeffersonville.

I had always loved horses since I could remember. I owned a few riding horses and would often spend 5 hours a day on horseback. It was my passion.

I have put together some photos of some of the horses that I have worked with and some of my own personal ownership. I no longer work with the horses due to medical problems but will always cherish my time spent with them.

I have to say that I have been very fortunate to do something as a living that brought me so much happiness. I can't even imagine working in an office or a factory. There is just something extra special about working with animals and being outdoors.

I have worked and visited tracks in several states including:

Turfway Park in Florence, Kentucky
River Downs in Cincinatti, Ohio
The Fairgrounds in New Orleans, Louisianna
Hiahleah Park In Hiahleah, Florida
Gulfstream Park in Hollywood, Florida
Longacres in Seattle, Washington

before settling in Ocala, Florida to work on Thoroughbed farms. where I had the opportunity to work with foals, broodmares, and young horses in training.
