Retaliation
Dear Kay Lee,
This letter is to inform you of the chaos I have been in while here at Wakulla CI.
NOTE: On April 11, 2001, I was placed in confinement. On that day, I was choked, kneed, and kicked by an officer named Wesson. All this took place while I was still in handcuffs.
Two days later, Officer Wesson came to my cell with a pair of cuffs, shaking them at the door, making threats at me. I then wrote an inmate grievance to inform the inspector of my mishap, thinking that this Officer Wesson would leave me alone, but it only made him more angry.
NOTE: He has been threatening me with DRs that I did nothing to receive. He will not give me toilet paper, and on May 15th, he took my canteen sheet and threw it away, leaving me with no stamps or writing paper. On April 20, 2001, my first day of DC Confinement, he did not feed me my dinner. He only laughed at me and stated, "If you want to play these write up games, then I can play too."
NOTE: I have written three grievances on Officer Wesson based on his unprofessional actions. I myself am very scared that this officer is going to carry out his threat's. I have 70 days left before I go home, but I am afraid that this officer is going to try and jam my date, all because he feels I should not have writen him up, and every chance he gets, he lets me know he's going to retaliate. It's scary to know you can't win if he comes at you, because he's the law in here, even if he's not the one to write the bogus DR. I know he'll be the one behind it, because these officers here stick together.
Ms. Kaylee, if you could please understand. I am a man who wants to go home, and there is nothing I would do to back my date up from where it is now. So, if you could please look into this situation, I would greatly thank you.
There are a lot of corrupt officers here at Wakulla CI.
Sincerely,
Gregory Wilson
