Rt. 4 Box 2695Dear Ms. Lee,
Thank you for the touching card. The little boy with the kittens is very much like my Richie, which you will see if you request the photos for Elian II. The page on Making The Walls Transparent is a kindness nearly overwhelming. Thank you. God bless you.
FLORIDA BISHOP SEEKS PARDON
by Richard GeffkenOn September 3, 2001, Bishop John H. Ricard, SSJ, requested a pardon for Richard Geffken, imprisoned at Madison Correctional Institution, Florida. Simultaneous requests went to President G.W. Bush and Florida's Governor Jeb Bush.
When considering the recent release of Juan Melendez, the 24th innocent man to be released from Death Row in Florida, it is well to remember those on Death Row are not the only ones serving unjust imprisonment. Indeed, those accused of capital crimes are provided the best attorneys, have the greatest care spent on examining their appeals, have the most public awareness given to their situation, yet still suffer unjust convictions. Statistically, the percentage of those unjustly convicted of lesser charges must be large enough to question public confidence in the judicial system.
Mr. Geffken visited his son after a nine-month absence in California, where the company which employed him for 19 years had sent him for management training. The boy then convinced his father and nine professional therapists of terrible abuse. When no one would prosecute those the child identified as harming him, Mr. Geffken responded to the child's tearful pleading to be saved by taking him to safety in Costa Rica.
The judge told the state it could conceal all the child's medical and psychiatric evaluations; also all the reports of the child identifying who harmed him ten months before trial in what must be considered one of the most blatant acts of pre-judging a case in recent times. The judge also stated on transcript to not caring what '"wicked witches" had done to the boy. He held all that irrelevant to saving him.
While Mr. Geffken awaited trial in jail, the prosecutor signed a contract with a professional criminal con man to create a new crime for the father. Plainly, the prosecutor wanted to create something to permit putting Mr. Geffken away for a long time. A 32-minute taped conversation was next made. There was no warrant, nor any waiver of the right to counsel or silence. Seven minutes were plainly edited out of the tape, and sections taped elsewhere added. Even so, the jury formally questioned what was criminal abaout it, but was directed to convict anyway.
For his contracted assistance, the criminal, a professional informer, was freed from charges of robbing blind people and stores. During the next four months, he committed five more felonies, including maiming a woman. Most of his 59 crimes have been against the people of Orlando, but Florida prosecutors prefer hiring this man to railroad fathers trying to protect their children rather than sending their skilled agent to prison. For saving his child's life, and telling the government agent hired to create a crime where none existed, that he could spray down his ex-wife with an Uzi, Mr. Geffken is sentenced to 35 years. He was allowed no witness. The public defender was provided names and locations of over 50, but contacted none. Worse, the PD lied for four years to courts, the Florida Bar, and Mr. Geffken that he had. The Florida Bar decided that lying to the courts, Bar Association and one's client is not an ethical concern for any Florida attorney.
189 violations of due process occurred. Florida also suspended habeas corpus to keep the child with those he identified as harming him. The violation of human and children's rights involved in railroading Mr. Geffken has caused four nations to protest. It has become a factor in expelling the U.S. from the UN Commission on Human Rights on May 3, 2001. A movie, "Father of the Year", about Mr. Geffken's ordeal has a script and a director.
All in all, there is no legal or moral wrong attributable to Mr. Geffken, who, at age 53, has a death sentence. If 24 people can be freed from Death Row, many believe it outrageous that Mr. Geffken should die in prison for the "crime" of trying to save his son's life.
The September 11, 2001 terrorist attack temporarily disrupted the pardon effort. To date, there has been no explanation offered for not granting one.
JANET RENO'S "CAREFUL CONSIDERATION"
Story of Elian ISince Florida is your special interest, let me give you some facts.
Janet Reno's letter saying she'll most likely grant a pardon if elected is enclosed. Let us look deeper.
She was reminded that as U.S. Attorney General, the FBI verified all 141 facts I provided as 100% true. Since that demonstrated extreme criminal conduct by U.S. Sen. Connie Mack and Florida officials, including a pervert judge, the U.S. Senate Judiciary 1Conte decided the report was "unauthorized." Not untrue. Just unusable. In exchange for dropping the matter, lo' & behold, the Impeachment charges against Ms. Reno were never mentioned again from that very hour.
While Ms. Reno's sense of obligation is commendable, let us look at the facts. My child and I have been tortured, brutalized, molested, caged and subjected to ceaseless torment for seven years by a government (which knows I am innocent and so is my son) FOR CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATIONS.

Dear Mr. Geffken,
Thank you for contacting Ms. Reno regarding your personal experience and progress. We appreciate knowing that you consider Janet Reno someone you should turn to for assistance.
As a candidate for Governor of Florida, Ms. Reno unfortunately is not in a position to provide the direct involvement that your case would require. We could not give it the personal attention that it deserves, and that you deserve, given the responsibilities she has assumed. Until Ms. Reno becomes governor, she cannot take public positions regarding pardons. You can be certain of careful consideration if your petition is still pending at that time.
We appreciate your thinking of Ms. Reno. Please understand that we wish you the very best and hope that you are able to find appropriate help.
Thank you,
Rick Minor

That Sen Mack was asked to resign and agreed to not seek re-election instead is not material. Let me paraphrase Abe Lincoln:
Government by sadistic child raping criminals should not prevail, nor government by the people perish from this earth."
Shall we make a big deal of this? Obviously, Ms. Reno will withdraw her offer. After all, what are the parents and children of Americans but victims of chattel slavery and repeat perversions?
I vote to expose them. Just let's be as ruthless and cunning as this filth damned by God. What say you?
Last, I enclose an article from a South Carolina paper with an article about the Catholic Church seeking a pardon from Bush.
Surprise! They found me innocent of any moral or legal wrong too. Yet the sadists enjoy the screams of my boy and I, hour after hour, day after bloody day, month in, year out. May God damn their souls to everlasting hell, with all who help the antichrists.
Sending "any essays you want me to consider" may overwhelm you. Had 11 articles published in 2001. Four this year (heavy court obligations). For now I submit:
Realistically yours,
Richard Geffken
