Operation Money Jar-Information
"Operation Money Jar"- We want you to make little jars and put them in your school, any stores, work, church, or anywhere else you want to place them.Put a label that says"Operation Money Jar-(Then the Charity)." Once you put them where you want them, leave them out for people to put their spare change in. This will help us raise money pretty quickly. Operation Money Jar:Sending the Money
Of course we know after you have read this you will have some questions. Look below to see if your question is listed then see what our answer is.
1) What if I only want to participate in one boy's fundraiser?
That is totally up to you. If you don't want to raise money for more than one boy then that if perfectly okay with us.
2) Let's say I have money to give for Howie's fundraiser, but it's Nick's month, can I still donate the money?
Yes, you can. The purpose of the schedule is to help people know how long they have before we send the check. If you have money and happen to miss the date, we will save the money until February 20, 2001 and all the money will be sent to the charities.
3) Do I have to raise money with money jars if I don't want to?
No, you can raise the money any way you please. The money jar was just a way to get you started.
4) Do I have to be a member of KTBSPA to participate in this fundraiser?
No, you don't have to be a member. Although most of you already are members of KTBSPA, but we encourage you to let your friends know about our fundraiser. The more the merrier.
5) After I've raised my money who do I send it to?
It depends on which charity you raised money for. Kristin (the vice Prez) will be in charge of Nick and Brian. I will be in charge of Howie and Kevin. Then AJ is split between Kristin and I. When you have raised the money and you are finished with it, you will need to E mail one of us to get the address to send your money.
6) How do I mail my money to you?
You can mail your money any way you please. But we do ask not to send checks or change when you send the money to us. If we receive a check or change the money will be returned to you. This is for both yours and our safety.
7) What is my guarantee that you will receive the money?
Once we have received your money we will E mail you letting you know when we received it, how much was in the envelope. Then we will add your amount to the fundraiser total. We promise to keep you all updated as the months pass by.
Those are the only questions for now. If you have any further questions please contact me at KTBSPA999@aol.com or the Vice Prez at Wpoohonu@aol.com. We will be happy to answer any of your questions. We hope to raise a lot of money for the boys and we hope you will help us with our goal. Thank you for your time and remember....it's better to give than to receive.
