Life as a fairy tale....

Is life just a fairy tale?
Or are we all playing on a stage?
As I ask myself these questions,
I think of who the playwright is...
Do they wish for me to be happy,
Or am I cursed to alone in the dark for the rest of my days?

If it's true and my life and your life is a fairy tale,
Then where is the happy ending?
Where's the knight in shinny armor on the beautiful white horse?
Do I have mystical powers where I can fly?
If I do then where are my wings?
I honestly don't think anyone can fly...

Even though the thought is pretty cool...
I don't think I am cut out for the happy ending
At the end of my life,
When death does me part
Will I get the copy of the story to my life?
Do I hold the future in my own hands?

Or does a higher being have power of me and guides me the way I go?
If fairy tales are so happy,
Then why am I so sad?
Is life itself a fairy tale?
Or are we all just actors in a play?
