Ms. Ringer began her ballet training at age 10 in Summerville, South Carolina. She attended Washington Ballet School for two years, beginning when she was 12. After attending the School of American Ballet summer session, she was invited to attend the school full time on a full scholorship. In October, 1989, she became an apprentice to the company, and in January 1990 joined the corps de ballet. She was promoted to Soloist in January 1995, and to Principal in 2000.
