Ms. Borree began her dance training at the Tidewater Ballet Association when she was 5 years old. She supplemented this with training at The School of American Ballet summer session for 3 years. She was invited to attend the winter session in 1985. In 1987, she became an apprentice to the company, and then was asked to join the corps de ballet in 1988. In 1992 she was promoted to Soloist, and in 1997 she became a Principal Dancer.
