Ballet...nearly everyone knows what it is, though only a privileged few study and know it. It has evolved from one of the oldest art forms: the art of movement. Today, in this modern world, it is one of the few remaining endeavors which cannot be learned through the internet, or any sort of electronic device, it must be passed from teacher to student, in a careful, precise process. Dance is the only art where the instrument cannnot be purchased...it must be molded and worked on constantly...for the instrument is your own body.
