when...
your child gets hurt?
"I'm sorry, but you're okay and Mommy is here."
when...
your actions have hurt someone?
"I'm sorry, it will not happen again."
when...
the money is gone and bills need to be paid?
"I'm sorry, can I pay you next payday?"
when...
a parent or friend becomes deathly ill?
"I'm so sorry, is there anything that I can do?"
Somehow these words,
simply do not say enough. They do not impart
the feelings of sorrow and helplessness, of the
sense of impending loss.
Is there anything else you can say?
