The Valley of Decision
"Multitudes,
multitudes in the valley of decision:
for the day of the
LORD is near in the valley of decision."
-Joel 3:14
In the year of our Lord 2003,
The prophetic clock of God is still ticking, just as it is
told, by His foreknowledge, "Declaring the end from the beginning, and
from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall
stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" (Isa
46:10). As we draw nearer
to the end, it's becoming more clearer to see such Scriptures as "For
yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in
the night" (1Thes 5:2)
how they apply to us! The most
incredible thing is, and the Bible said it would be, that it is evident that it
is coming as a thief upon most of the people who are suppose to KNOW and
discern He is coming!!! The evidence
being what is preached week after week, no alarm, no clear word from the Lord
and no discernment of His coming!!! We can discern the face of the sky, but we can't discern the signs
of the times??? (Matt 16:3) "But
and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite his fellowservants,
and to eat and drink with the drunken;
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for
him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Matt 24:48-51; Lk 12:45-46) "…and unto them that look for him shall
He appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (Heb 9:28)

the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out
of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not

themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be
turned unto fables. But watch thou in
all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof
of thy ministry. For I am now ready
to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have
finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the
Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but
unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Tim 4:1-8 |
It is astounding to hear of prophecy conferences that go on every year and there are a lot of great truths that are brought out, but every one time and time again miss the key issues of the End-Times brought out by Jesus and the Apostles: Deception, take heed and beware, false apostles bringing in another gospel "which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ." (Gal 1:7) another jesus and another spirit! Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils are serving the purpose to sift out all those love don't really love the truth, they might say, I know Jesus (1 Jn 2:4) but Jesus doesn't know them (Lk 13:27). "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (II Th 2:10-12)
The Year, Day, Hour of
Decision
Another world calamity and National tragedy just happened recently, and already it doesn't seem like a big deal to most televangelists. Space shuttle disintegrates in the air, Twin towers crumble to the ground, probable war with Iraq, drugs, murder, rape and violence in every city "..Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven." (Luke 21:10-11) and still the real issues go unchallenged. Friend, this day of 2003 is one of decision, do we really believe Jesus is COMING? Even at the door? Give not ear to the false teachers anymore!!! Let God be true and everyman become the liar!!! Not only did the prophet Joel speak about "Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision" (Joel 3:14) He called for a "solemn assembly" (1:14; 2:15), to "REND OUR HEARTS, and not our garments"(2:13), to "WEEP between the porch and the altar"(2:17)! The hour of our visitation has come (Lk 19:44)! And behold many know it not! God, in His longsuffering and tender mercies, rising up early, sending His prophets to give us warning, and multitudes of His own people have said "we will not hearken" (Jer 6:17). God says, "Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you." (Prov 1:23) And today's Church world says, " …I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing;.." (Rev 3:17) "we don't need God, we will not have Him to rule over us!" The Bible said of Jesus, that His "…fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire." (Matt 3:12) Are we really on the Lord's side? Where will you be found standing? Do we really have a love of the truth? There's still time to repent and get right, so repent and get right!
"And he spake to them a parable;
Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and
know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things
come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be
fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass
away: but my words shall not pass away.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your
hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of
this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them
that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray
always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall
come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man." (Luke
21:29-36)
"Who
is the wise
man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the
LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth
and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through? And the LORD
saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not
obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; But have walked after the imagination
of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed
them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. I will scatter them also among the heathen,
whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after
them, till I have consumed them. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye,
and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning
women, that they may come: (weep between the porch and the altar) And let
them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with
tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters. For a voice of wailing is heard
out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we
have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast us out. Yet hear the
word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his
mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour
lamentation. For death is come up into our windows, and is entered into our
palaces, to cut off the children from without, and the young men from the
streets. Speak, Thus saith the LORD, Even the carcases of men shall fall as
dung upon the open field, and as the handful after the harvestman, and none
shall gather them. Thus saith the
LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man
glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that
glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the
LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:
for in these things I delight, saith the LORD." (Jer 9:12-24)
"How long, ye simple ones, will ye
love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate
knowledge? Turn you at my reproof:
behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto
you. Because I have called, and ye
refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have
set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will
laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear
cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress
and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not
answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they
hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: They would none of
my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit
of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning
away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy
them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from
fear of evil." (Prov 1:22-33)
Your Decision?
Can we really go back to the good ole days, where there was many years ahead? Can we go back to the times where most Americans knew nothing of Islam and it's agenda? I'm afraid not, the time is at hand (Rev 1:3; 22:10)!
"And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are
closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall
do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall
understand." (Dan 12:9-10)
