Who Needs To Be Saved?

 How to be saved
How can I know I'm forgiven?
 Now what should I do?
 Can we help?

Thaf's what so many today seem to think. Are you one of  those? Do you believe that, because you're a good person and have been all your life, that because you don't lie, cheat, steal or do any number of the other things that, "Christians call sin," you're ok? Then you need to know what God says.
Romans 3:23, "23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 5:12, "12. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:"

  1. Since you now know that you are a sinner and in need of saving you now need to know that the only way God will forgive your sins is through the blood of His Son Jesus.
Acts 5:30-31, "30.  The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. 31.  Him hath God exalted with his right hand [to be] a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins."
Hebrews 9:22, "22.  And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no
 remission."

2. You must confess to God that you are a sinner and that you believe that Jesus Christ His Son died on the cross for your sins and ask God to forgive you.
Romans 10:9-10, "9. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that
God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
John 3:16, "16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life."

3. How can you know that God has heard you and forgiven you of your sins no matter what you have done?
1 John 1:9, "9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Now that you have accepted Jesus as your personal Saviour you should begin to read His word the Bible and pray daily for God's guidance. Read the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Next find a Bible believing church . You want a church that still believes the Bible to be God's word without error. If you go to a church that tries to explain away things in the Bible, go somewhere else. If they think they are the only Christians find another church. The name over the door is not as important as what is being taught on the inside. The church should be friendly towards new people (like yourself) and you should feel welcome.
When you find a church that you can call your home church, you need to become involved. Don't be a pew warmer, you are needed in the harvest.
