Distinguished Visitors

The cats that have enjoyed my hospitality haven't all wished to be my own; after all, they see that it's pretty crowded. Cats aren't really known for enjoying large crowds. Besides, several of them do have homes. There's quite a mix, actually--- ferals, lost pets, and visitors "just passing through".

Bunnybutt

She's someone's cat, but visits so regularly that she deserves a place here. Bunny's on the fence here-- it's usual with her, since she dislikes the other cats and won't eat with them. (In fact, I often have to hold a dish of food for her, so she can eat while balancing on the fence!)

the Fuzzyganger

This sweet boy is my late friend the Fuzzyganger, and a friend he truly was. A gentle, peaceful soul, he greeted me affectionately the first time he came into my yard. He never liked being indoors, but was diagnosed with cat-AIDS, and had to be separated from the other cats.

He was all right for nearly a year, but just a week before Christmas, he became very ill. I held him as he was put to sleep, and he purred until the end. Rest in peace, pretty guy. You won't be forgotten.

Rusty

Here he is, making himself at home. No feral, he was obviously a lost pet. Turns out his home was actually not far from my house, and he has a name-- it's Rusty! Right now, he's back with his own folks. Perhaps he'll visit me again sometime; if he does, I'll know whom to notify. (He's a real joy. I'm so glad he's safe!)
