The shops are nothing spectacular, just lean and mean. In February 2000, a boat load of GP7s from SPCX are found waiting for a check-up.





CSX 5940 was working a freight train in Illinois in the Fall of 1997 when it derailed and flipped over. It was sent dead in tow through Montgomery, Pensacola and reached Jacksonville through the Tallahassee sub. It is waiting for repairs in February 1999.


Engine #1 was hired to work the yard.


Southern Pacific 3601 has found its way to Jacksonville, with the marking "World's largest railroad car".
