TOURNAMENT RULES


PITCHING RULES

           1. One pitch will be considered an inning pitched.

           2. A maximum of seven innings in any two consecitive game combination.

           3. Penalty for violation of pitching rules will result in immediate forfeiture of the game.

           RUN RULE

           1. 20 runs after 2 innings ( 12 and under )

           2. 15 runs after 3 innings ( 12 and under )

           3. 10 runs after 4 innings ( 12 and under )

           4. 20 runs after 3 innings ( above 12 )

           5. 15 runs after 4 innings ( above 12 )

           6. 10 runs after 5 innings ( above 12 )


PLAYING RULES

           1. August 1st will be the designated date to determine ages. Players exceeding the age of the Division                before August 1st will not be eligible to participate in that Division. Players can play in a highter age                Division.

           2. Collisions must be avoided at all times, if flagrant the player will be called out and ejected.

           3. A batter/runner shall not leave his feet to avoid a tag, penalty for infraction is an out.

           4. Any coach or player ejected from a game must set out the next game played.

           5. All head coaches are responsible for the conduct of their fans.

           6. Metal cleats are allowed in any tournament that is 13 years old and above.

           7. Big barrel bats can be used in all age groups.

           8. Game balls will be furnished by each team as needed starting with two (2).

           9. Home team will be determined by a coin flip.

          10. EH rule: You may bat 10 players (optional), the EH can go into the game at any time for a defensive                  player, at that point that player now becomes the EH.THE BATTING ORDER DOES NOT CHANGE.

          11. Coutesy runner for both the pitcher and the catcher may be used at any time. Courtesy runner has to                  be someone not presently in the line-up.

          12. If tournament is not completed for any reason, the following provisions will be inforced Pool Play                Tournaments.

           If pool play is not completed, tournament champion will be decided by,

                      1. Won/lost record.

                      2. Head to head if two teams are tied.

                      3. If more than two teams, least runs allowed in games involving teams tied.

                      4. If more than two teams, most runs scored in games involving teams tied.

                      5. Tournament champion will be determined as listed above.

           Round Robin Tournament

           If round robin is not completed

                      1. You revert to equal number of games, with last game played being eliminated if necessary.

                      2. Won/lost record.

                      3. Head to head.

                      4. Least runs allowed in games involving teams tied.

                      5. Most runs scored in games involving teams tied.

           14. If only one game has been played, you will receive half of your money back, and no trophics will be                  given.

           15. If two (2) or more games have been played no money will be refunded.
