The Parkview Motel was acquired by the Hébert family in 1982.  After relocating from the snowbrushed Vermont, the Héberts (Ted, Sandra, Shawn and Lori), decided to acquire a quaint inn in the sleepy town of Gulfport.  After renovations, what resulted was a beautiful mom and pop motel at the corner of Beach Boulevard and 28th Avenue, in the center of Gulfport.  Historic Gulfport, with its long stretch of museums, shops and culture are what make Gulfport the perfect getaway.  When you tire of the high-rise hotels and the high-energy life, come to where you can relax and unwind.  Where cafes linger their fresh pastry scent, and singers with acostic guitar accompaniment tell their story, where the subtropical breeze dreams of piña coladas, that is where you will find the heart of Gulfport, that's where you'll find us.
