Sr Elton John was born on March 25,1947 in Penner, England as Reginald Kenneth Dwight. He started playing piano at a very young age by ear. He studied piano with being a classical pianist in mind, that is until rock and roll got a hold of him. He recorded his first albums with his first band called Bluesology. Tired of being in the back ground Elton decided to go it alone. After answering an add for musicians he was paired up with a young man named Bernie Taupin who wrote lyrics. Since Elton could only write music the two were ment to be together. Ever since then the two of them have been making some of the most wonderful music made over the past thirty years.
