Live from the Philips Arena, Atlanta, GA on USA Network.

Your hosts are Scott Hudson and Mike Tenay.

We do ten-bell salutes for David Deaton, Chief Thundercloud, Awesome Kong, Buddy Roberts, Mike Boyette, Siegfried Stanke, Gordon Nelson, Rip Hawk and Bill Dromo. R.I.P.

We go right to Lillian Garcia in the ring.

LG: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, the JWL Commissioner "THE HARDCORE LEGEND" MICK FOLEY!

(Wreck plays, bringing out the Hardcore Legend to a good pop.)

FOLEY: Thank you, thank you, it is great to be here in ATLANTA, GA! (Thumbs up, cheap pop.) I am here tonight to make an important announcement. That announcement is, welcome back to the JWL, JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER!

(Lawler's music plays as he makes his way out and the crowd chants his name and Welcome Back Welcome Back!)

Lawler enters the ring and takes the mic.

LAWLER: So that's the way it is? After decades of you people booing me and laughing at me when I got beat up and calling me the Burger King and all the rest of it, I have to have a heart attack for you people to be happy to see me. My LIFE has to be put in danger for you people to actually decide to start caring about me. I thought that the wrestling fans in Philadelphia were a bunch of sick lowlifes, I never expected something like this from people in the South. Honestly, I did not need or want your cheers before and, if this is what has to happen for me to get them, it was not worth it and I do not want or need them now. As my friend James E. Cornette would say, Thank you very little, you're welcome even less.

Lawler leaves to the boos of the crowd. Scott and Mike are stunned and are almost speechless.

Well, on with the show.

Natalya Neidhart vs. Melina Perez

We get excellent technical wrestling from the ladies to start the show, with the crowd actually somewhat split. Natalya takes control, getting a couple of 2-counts. Melina comes back, but Nattie keeps fighting, generally working over Melina's legs to set up the Sharpshooter, with Melina doing everything in her power to prevent it. They go back and forth for several minutes, until Melina attempts a superkick which Nattie catches and follows with a Dragon-screw leg-whip into the Sharpshooter for the tap-out at 7:30.

Here is your winner, NATALYA NEIDHART!

Crowd cheers.

KABOOM!

The JWL World Heavyweight Champion KANE power walks down to the ring as Lillian runs for safety. Kane grabs a mic and enters the ring.

KANE: I AM THE JWL WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION AND I AM STILL UNDEFEATED IN SINGLES COMPETITION! I AM DEMANDING SOMEONE COME OUT HERE AND ACCEPT MY CHALLENGE AND I WILL NOT LEAVE THIS RING UNTIL SOMEONE DOES!

To everyone's surprise, JACK SWAGGER walks out.

JACK SWAGGER: I am JACK SWAGGER, the All-American American, and the hottest free agent in the entire JWL. That's right, Kane, you might be the Champ, but I am the guy that all the managers here have been scouting. I accept your challenge and I am going to beat you and prove why I am the guy who everyone has been watching.

Kane accepts, and sets the pyro off for emphasis.

(Video package covering the Hart Dynasty's surprise debut and victory over the Dudley Boys, the Harts beating the Dudleys again the following week, and the Dudleys laying out the Harts last week and the impromptu Dudleys-Balls Mahoney/Masato Tanaka street fight that turned into a four-way-dance with the Nasty Boys and the Faces of Fear which Mahoney and Tanaka won.)

Tyson Kidd vs. D-Von Dudley

D-Von attacks Tyson before the bell and just pounds on him out of sheer frustration. D-Von controls, just beating up Tyson nonstop. Tyson fights back but D-Von is just relentless here. Tyson tries coming back again, but it is to no avail, as D-Von finishes with Saving Grace (Curtain Call) at 6:30.

LG: Here is your winner, D-VON DUDLEY!

D-Von continues beating up on Tyson, bringing out DH Smith to make the save.

(We go back to last week's episode of The Smackdown Hotel where Paul E. Dangerously introduced Bobby Lashley and Samoa Joe as the new members of the Dangerous Alliance, the Rock insulting and slapping Joe, and Joe suplexing the Rock and finishing with the Muscle Buster, then Ted DiBiase Jr. defeating Al Snow and continuing to beat him up afterwards, and finishing with Joe and Lashley making the save and challenging DiBiase and Cody Rhodes to a match.)

"The Real Deal" Bobby Lashley and "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe (w/Paul E. Dangerously and 911) vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. (w/"The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes)

911 checks under the ring and in the crowd to make sure that no one is there who could possibly interfere. He reports to Paul E. that it looks clean.

Lillian announces that Commissioner Foley has banned Paul E., 911 and Dusty Rhodes from ringside and that if they or any other members of the Dangerous Alliance or Dusty's Dream Team interfere, then that person or those people will be suspended. Paul E. and Dusty give their teams some last-minute advice before leaving.

Ted DiBiase Jr. grabs the mic and announces that even IF he gets pinned or submits, he will STILL be the Million Dollar Champion, as the title is NOT on the line.

Cody and Ted are more than a little nervous about having to tie up with either of the two powerhouses in the other corner. They do rock-paper-scissors and Ted will have to start against Lashley. Lashley throws Ted around to the cheers of the crowd, as the normal formula is reversed here. Ted bails and tags in Cody, who suffers the same fate. Joe comes in and proceeds to beat up on Cody even more than Lashley did. The heels are getting nowhere here and the crowd is loving it. Finally, Ted trips up Joe from the apron to slow him down. Cody works on Joe for a time, actually getting a couple of 2-counts. Joe comes back and goes back to beating up Cody again. To everyone's surprise, Ted goes over to the timekeeper, grabs his Million Dollar Belt, and pulls Cody out of the ring. Ted says something to Cody and Cody nods in agreement. Cody then grabs the microphone.

CODY: Hey, we have better things to do with our time than to waste it getting our dashing, valuable faces damaged by a mute muscle head and a fat slob! (Insert pot-kettle line here.) We are leaving!

The crowd boos as Cody and Ted actually start walking to the back. Joe and Lashley did NOT come here to win by countout, so they rush to grab them and drag them back to the ring, but, it is too late, as referee Nick Patrick has counted them out!

LG: Here are your winners, as a result of-

JOE: Well, this is what I would have expected from the son of a COWARD who tried to buy his way out of bad situations, but I would have expected the son of a MORON to stay and fight!

Cody SNAPS, and runs right back into the fight, seriously resenting Joe's description of the American Dream. Ted tries to talk him down, but Cody will not listen. He is unloading on Joe as best as he can. Ted runs to the back and brings out the Nasty Boys and the One Man Gang from Dusty's Dream Team to help, leading to Paul E. sending out the World's Greatest Tag Team and 911 from the Dangerous Alliance, and the two factions brawl around until referees and officials can separate them.

(Video package covering Kane's path of destruction culminating in his demanding an opponent tonight and Jack Swagger answering the challenge.)

Main Event, JWL World Heavyweight Champion "The Big Red Machine" Kane © vs. "The All-American American" Jack Swagger

The All-American American from the University of Oklahoma and the Champion of Parts Unknown tie up and Kane takes control with ease. This is an odd match since the fans do not know for whom they are supposed to cheer, as Kane is a monster heel and Swagger has not done anything to endear himself to the fans. Kane controls, but Swagger actually counters by going for Kane's legs to try to bring him down to the mat. Swagger actually gets Kane off of his feet for a 2-count, something no one has been able to do in the JWL since the Yeti/Giant-Sid/Kane match at JWL WrestleMania I. Kane is shocked, as he has been practically unstoppable the whole time he has been in the JWL. While this is happening, we see Jerry Lawler, Dusty Rhodes and Khosrow Daivari each make his way out to the ring, as their scouting of Swagger continues. Swagger actually keeps up the offense, and the crowd is actually getting behind him, at least in part because they want to see someone possibly end Kane's reign of terror. Kane goes for the Chokeslam, but Swagger escapes and comes up with a Fireman's Carry Slam and an Oklahoma roll for 2! Around the 15-minute mark, Kane tries again and Swagger counters with a small package…
