You know the drill.

JR and Tenay welcome us to the show and announce that our main event is a tag team match with Ric Flair and JWL World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit teaming up against Raven and Stevie Richards and that Raven will be challenging for the gold at The Great American Bash.

Opening Match: Mike Awesome vs. "The Legend-Killer" Randy Orton

LG: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall."

Crowd boos.

LG: "Introducing first, representing the Royals, from St. Louis, MO, weighing in at 245 lbs., 'THE LEGEND-KILLER' RANDY ORTON!

("The Zoo" by the Scorpions plays)

LG: "And his opponent, representing the Hardcore Alliance, from Tampa, FL, weighing in at 292 lbs., MIKE AWESOME!"

Awesome attacks Orton right off the bat and throws him around for a bit with power stuff. Orton resorts to cheating and resting to counter, drawing boos. Orton gets a neckbreaker for 2. Awesome fights back and regains control. Orton bails and tries to escape into the crowd but the BOOGEYMAN is there and scares Orton back into the ring! Awesome finishes with an Awesome Bomb for the pin at 5:30.

LG: "Here is your winner, MIKE AWESOME!"

Awesome then gives Orton a Batista Bomb, drawing Batista out for a confrontation. Both guys engage in trash talking until Batista leaves, taking Orton with him.

"The Heavy Metal Maniac" Riot vs. Trish Stratus

LG: "The following women's contest is scheduled for one fall."

LG: "Introducing first, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, TRISH STRATUS!"

("Dragula" plays)

Crowd cheers.

LG: "And her opponent, representing the Revolution, from Chicago, IL, 'THE HEAVY METAL MANIAC' RIOT!"

Riot and Trish have a good match with Riot controlling most of it and Trish getting in some good offense of her own. Trish takes control, to the shock of the crowd, with some Chick Kicks and goes for the Stratusfaction but Riot blocks it. Riot suplexes Trish and finishes with the Riot Twister Elbow (twisting top rope elbow drop) and the powerbomb for the pin at 5:30.

LG: "Here is your winner, RIOT!"

Rey Misterio Jr. vs. TAKA Michinoku (w/Shoichi Funaki)

LG: "The following cruiserweight competition is scheduled for one fall."

LG: "Introducing first, being accompanied by Kaientai Deluxe member Shoichi Funaki, from Morioka, Iwate, Japan, weighing in at 169 lbs., TAKA MICHINOKU!"

LG: "And his opponent, from San Diego, CA, weighing in at 165 lbs., REY MISTERIO JR.!"

Rey and TAKA proceed to have an excellent match filled with high-flying and technical wrestling. TAKA controls for a time but Rey fights back and goes for the 619, but TAKA avoids it. TAKA then DDT’s Rey and mocks him by hitting him with the 019 (the calling code for Morioka, Iwate, Japan), which draws major heel heat. TAKA then hits a brainbuster and finishes with the Michinoku Driver #2 for the pin at 7:30.

LG: "Here is your winner, TAKA MICHINOKU!"

Kaientai beat Rey down until Jerrelle Clark makes the save. Clark challenges Funaki for next week and Funaki accepts.

Crowd boos.

BUBBA: "FACES OF FEAR! You boys got lucky that one time you beat us. However, that was a regular match and what we have in mind is not a regular match. We are challenging you to a TABLES MATCH at The Great American Bash. Finally, the JWL World Tag Team Titles will be around the waists of the greatest team ever, the Dudley Boys. After the Bash is over, Raven's Nest will control both the JWL World Heavyweight Championship when Raven beats Chris Benoit and the JWL World Tag Team Championship when we beat you in our specialty, a tables match."


(The Dungeon of Doom's music plays, bringing out the Tag Champs and manager "The Taskmaster" Kevin Sullivan.)

TASKMASTER: "DUDLEYS! The Faces of Fear have beaten you before and they can beat you again. The Dungeon shall be victorious twice at the Bash, once when Kamala beats Kane and a second time when the Faces of Fear put you through those tables."

The Dudleys attack and brawl with Meng and the Barbarian for a bit until security breaks up the fight.

We see some impressive tag team footage which ends with the words:

Perry Saturn vs. "The Wrestling Machine" Kurt Angle (w/Mr. Bob Backlund)

LG: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall."

("Pomp and Circumstance" plays)

LG: "Introducing first, representing High Standards, from Pittsburgh, PA, weighing in at 220 lbs., the only Olympic Gold Medalist in JWL history, 'THE WRESTLING MACHINE' KURT ANGLE!"

Crowd boos.

("The Beautiful People" plays)

LG: "And his opponent, representing the Misfits, from Boston, MA, weighing in at 234 lbs., PERRY SATURN!"

Crowd cheers.

Saturn and Angle have an excellent match filled with great, stiff technical wrestling. Saturn actually controls for a time. We get several minutes of solid back-and-forth action until Saturn takes over and hits the Death Valley Driver for the pin at 9:30!

LG: "Here is your winner, PERRY SATURN!"

Angle's stablemates Christopher Nowinski and Bret "The Hitman" Hart run out to attack Saturn, but Gangrel, Luna Vachon and Crowbar make the save. Bret issues a challenge for a six-man tag match at the Bash, and the Misfits accept it.

LUNA: "Since we are issuing challenges for the Bash, I have one of my own. Sable - Miss SAAAAble, get the hell out here. I demand a one-on-one match with you at the Bash!"

("Wild Cat" plays)

SABLE: "I accept your challenge Luna. It would be an honor to beat you again."

Luna goes to attack Sable but Gangrel holds her back.

("Come Out and Play" hits, as the Nest heads to the ring.)

LG: "Introducing Raven's Nest, Tori, Bubba Ray and D-Von the Dudley Boys and Rhino. From the Bowery, weighing in at 237 lbs., RAVEN! And from Philadelphia, PA, weighing in at 227 lbs., STEVIE RICHARDS!"

Crowd boos.

("Also Sprach Zarathustra" plays, bringing out the Champ and the Man.)

LG: "And their opponents, being led to the ring by 'The Horny Little She-Devil" Terri Runnels and representing the Four Horsemen, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 220 lbs., he is the JWL World Heavyweight Champion 'THE CRIPPLER' CHRIS BENOIT! And from Charlotte, NC, weighing in at 243 lbs., 'THE NATURE BOY' RIC FLAIR!"

The Horsemen enter the ring and soak up the adulation. Flair struts the width of the ring and Raven has to restrain Stevie from strutting with him.

We get an exciting stiff match with a mixture of old-school style from Flair and the more updated styles of Benoit, Raven and Richards. Flair and Benoit just chop the hell out of the heels, with the sounds echoing throughout the arena. Raven and Stevie take control climaxing in Rhino goring Flair and Raven hitting the Raven Effect on Benoit for the shock pin at 10:00! Raven just pinned the JWL World Heavyweight Champion!

LG: Here are your winners, RAVEN AND STEVIE RICHARDS!

Flair struggles to his feet, but Shane Douglas runs in and attacks him. Shane issues a challenge for the Bash and Flair, though groggy, accepts.

JR and Tenay wrap up the show, thank everyone for watching and remind us to watch next week's show and to watch The Great American Bash on PPV.
