Before we can even get to our first match, we see JWL World Heavyweight Champion "The Crippler" Chris Benoit and the Rock brawling throughout the arena, as refs and officials try to separate them, but get knocked down in the process. JR hypes the Benoit-Rock World Title main event at JWL WrestleMania I.

Blackman charges in and immediately goes to work with kicks and chops. He controls with an intensity that most would not associate with him. Shawn bails to the floor to stall, but Blackman is right out there after him. Shawn seems distracted by the fact that Chyna isn't out there, as she was the first time these two met at Episode 14 due to her brawling with Jacqueline earlier. Shawn gets focused and takes control with his usual stuff, but Blackman fights back and takes control of Shawn's arm. Finally, Blackman gets Shawn down and hooks in the reverse triangular choke. Shawn resists but, to everyone's shock, TAPS OUT at 6:30!

JR: "Mah god, I can't believe it! 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels has just TAPPED OUT to 'The Lethal Weapon' Steve Blackman! This is unbelievable!"
Blackman is jumping for joy and running around and celebrating with the fans. The rest of the Shooters, Vader, Bigelow, Ken Shamrock, Al Snow, Norman Smiley and Little Guido Maritato come out to celebrate with him. They hoist him up on their shoulders and carry Blackman around the ring area and finally up the ramp.

The FOF and the Royals have a hard-hitting, exciting, well-paced, well-worked match. After several minutes of back-and-forth offense, Barbarian fights off a double-team and makes the HOT tag to Meng to an enormous pop. Meng cleans house and finishes Christian with the Tongan Death Grip to advance at 12:00.
