JR points out that Kanyon beat Malenko in their last one-on-one encounter, though Malenko and Benoit beat Kanyon and Val Venis at SuperBrawl.

Malenko and Kanyon have an exciting, highly technical match filled with great moves from both guys. Malenko gets control and never loses it, finishing Kanyon with the Texas Cloverleaf for the tapout at 6:00.

LG: "Here is your winner, 'THE ICEMAN' DEAN MALENKO!"

Crowd pops.

Malenko gets no chance to celebrate though, since THE ROCK runs in and attacks him. Rock hits the Rock Bottom and goes for the Royal Elbow, but JWL World Heavyweight Champion "The Crippler" Chris Benoit makes the save. JR makes sure to plug the Benoit-Rock match for the JWL World Heavyweight Title at JWL WrestleMania I.

BRET 'THE HITMAN' HART!"

"Hitman" plays and Bret walks down the aisle toward the ring with a smile on his face, seemingly suffering no lingering aftereffects from the concussion or the stroke. The crowd is shocked to see him and doesn't know whether to chant "Welcome back" or to boo him for returning as a member of High Standards. Out of concern for JR's health, Joey Styles is sent down to the announce desk to take over for him.

JOEY: "Oh my G-d! Fans, I never thought I would see this day. After leaving wrestling four years ago, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart is back and he has apparently chosen the JWL as his new home."

Bret enters the ring and shakes hands with his new stablemates.

BRET: "Let me start by saying that it feels really good to be back in the ring. Don't worry, I'm not going to whine and complain about Montreal or about getting screwed or anything like that. I've grown up and put all that behind me. Mr. Backlund, the two of us didn't always see eye to eye but I want to credit you as my inspiration to get back in the gym and get my head right. You gave me the opportunity to do again what I love and what I do best, and that's wrestle. Remember, that I am the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Now, with the brilliance of Mr. Bob Backlund combined with the Excellence of Execution, the Olympic Hero and the Harvard Graduate, nothing can stop us."

"Hitman" plays again and High Standards leave.

Crowd boos.

"LOCA! AND DELTA LOTTA PAIN! CAGED HEAT IS UNLEASHED!"

LG: "And their opponents, representing the Revolution, from the Arizona State Correctional Facility, LOCA AND DELTA LOTTA PAIN, CAGED HEAT!"

Match is pretty much a brawl, with nonstop action all over the place. The heels use their size advantage to control. Thug hits some big splashes on Loca and Delta, and the heels cheat nonstop. Finally, Thug chokeslams the heck out of Loca and finishes with the Last Call for the pin at 7:30.

LG: "Here are your winners, HARLEY'S ANGELS!"

Harley's Angels continue the beating after the match, but "The Real Deal" Selina Majors makes the save. Selina issues a challenge for a six-woman tag match at JWL WrestleMania I, and Harley’s Angels accept.

We get various shots of a beautiful blonde woman. She turns to the camera and says that the JWL is about to become "oh so Sableiscious!"
