The smallest of all our affiliates is the Pensacola Greyhound Association. Its members are booked kennels racing at the Pensacola Greyhound Track, located in the extreme northwestern part of the State of Florida. Representing the PGA is Danny Viles.

The Pensacola Association has served as a major political force for us throughout the past 12 years. Former State Senator W.D. Childers, who was retired due to Florida term limits the last Legislative Session, was from the area and was also the Dean of the Florida Senate. Much of our prior political success can be attributed to the Senator and the greyhound men and women of the Pensacola Greyhound Association.

Primarily a Navy town, Pensacola is located in the Panhandle of Florida and borders Alabama. The owners of the race track here also operate the track in Mobile. In 2009 the Poarch Creek Indians of Alabama became majority owners of both tracks.

The Poarch Creek Indians are descendents of a segment of the original Creek Nation, which once covered almost all of Alabama and Georgia. Unlike many eastern Indian tribes, the Poarch Creeks were not removed from their tribal lands and have lived together for almost 200 years in and around the reservation in Poarch, Alabama. The reservation is located eight miles northwest of Atmore, Alabama in rural Escambia County, and 57 miles east of Mobile.

In 2010, the Pensacola track opened a Card Room as allowed by Florida Law.
