Prophecy: Trampling God's Courts

TODAY'S WORD
 Isa 1:12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample my courts? Isa 1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; new moon and sabbath, the calling of assemblies, - I cannot away with iniquity and the solemn meeting. Isa 1:14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth; they are a trouble unto me; I am weary of bearing them. Isa 1:15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

I gave some thought to the trampling of God's courts when I read this line in an article today:



"To a person, each has proclaimed NO Destruction and spoken increase over the farmers--in much larger geography than ever before"



This part quickened a vision I had a few years back that I did not write about. I spoke about it on a few radio programs however. In the vision:



I was in heaven, facing the throne and I was on the right side of the throne from my perspective. The young worship singer Kim Walker Smith was on my left, facing the throne, singing and speaking the words to her song " We Cry Out". In that song, she cries out and repents for the nation and asks God to turn to us again. The Lord looked at me and asked: "What should I do with her"? I remember thinking about how young she was and how she represented so many other young people, like those at Jesus Culture and IHOP, who were crying out to God and who really wanted to grow into Him and learn of Him. I said, "Lord, only you know, from Your perspective in heaven, when to show mercy and when to release judgement". The vision ended.



So, I know from that vision, and from scripture, that there are two groups of people entering into heaven and their activities and intercessions are in direct opposition to each other. I was in heaven in the vision, representing and symbolizing those who were calling in the judgements and crying out, "How long, Sovereign Lord"?

The other camp is crying out for and decreeing mercy and delay. Almost everyone I have ever met is in the camp of desiring mercy and delay. The ministries that have advocated for this have gained many followers, such as the Gathering Of Eagles under Nita Johnson.

There have not been really any that have come along side of me to enthusiastically agree and endure with me and what I have been sent to decree over this nation...not any who have stood the course and maintained a holy walk before the Lord. Yet, the scripture maintains that:

Rev 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, Rev 18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

All of heaven is going to rejoice when this whole political, economic and religious Babylon falls down. The scripture says that there will be apostles and prophets, ostensibly located on Earth, who will also agree. We know God approves of this behavior because He calls these apostles and prophets "holy".

Misty Edwards, in her 2013 song "Baptize My Heart", touches upon this thought when she cries out for God to baptize my heart because "I don't want to be offended, when it's all coming down." I agree with Misty and add that I see a great potential for almost everyone to be offended when these really terrible things roll forth from the Lord.

There is no mention in the scripture at all of a group of people, on the Earth, who will be gathered together to constantly cry out for delay and mercy. I suppose there does not need to be. We are certainly commanded to make intercessions for all who are in authority and we are exhorted to pray about anything that we might have any worry about personally. I have no objection at all to such activity involving prayers for protection of one's person and one's family, yet I know that the adult family members may very well be called to personally account for their individual actions in spite of my intercessions.

However, when one begins to branch out, to expand and to begin to pray and decree blessing over larger geographic areas, one has to ask: which side of the throne is the right side to be on in this present hour? Is there a risk that one might find himself or herself in opposition to God?

Thus far, I would say that those who have decreed mercy have prevailed with God for the most part. I believe that, thus far, it has been much as I saw it in the heavenly vision. I take note, however, that in the heavenly vision, the Lord left it up to me to declare or say what should be done with her, and then I put it back on Him to make the decision. But, I know that an appointed time will come, probably in the near future, when He will declare ""ENOUGH!""

And, if many are in opposition to him: attempting to hold Him back in that day, will there be any negative consequences to them personally when He decides to brush aside their intercessions and allow judgement to roll forth like a river? Will they be found worthy to escape that which is coming upon the Earth?

I am a student of intercession. The scripture has much to say about it. I have read, prayed and pondered long on these things. One theme that is common among OT intercessors is found in the actions of Abraham before the Lord, as we see him interceding for Sodom. There is a childlike timidity on his part. He knows that he is coming before the All Consuming Fire to intercede for a wicked city and he treads very carefully and one might even say fearfully. I find it to be exceedingly touching. Abraham parlayed with the Lord down to the level of ten righteous souls and then he left off at that point. Results suggest that he failed, for there were not ten righteous to be found. One I know has argued that Abraham should have parlayed down to zero righteous souls and should have asked the Lord to pardon Sodom because of the Lord's great name. All I can say about the matter is that Abraham knew the Lord: he had a deep relationship with him and he sensed just how far he could go before he got into dangerous territory. Why was Abraham so timid? What or who was he afraid of? Why didn't he charge ahead and go for the zero righteous souls criteria? It is because he had experience with God. He knew Him and he knew he could only go so far.

I think that we have, for the most part, collectively lost any fear of Him that might be displayed in any way like this. I have never heard anyone preach about this. I did hear it mentioned in one Promise Keepers song a couple of decades ago that "we have lost the awe of you". Most who consider themselves to be intercessors have the attitude that they have been authorized by God in New Testament times to "go boldly before the throne of grace for help in time of need" and we are, of course, most thankful that Jesus paved this way for us to receive help FOR OURSELVES in a TIME OF NEED. But how about pushing forward into this larger and wider type of intercession on these types of legal grounds? Is it and should it not be conducted with the same timidity and reverent fear as Abraham displayed? I think so. Is it not also a ground where the novice might fear to tread: where a deep relationship might be required. Ought we, as intercessors, to come before the Lord and make every attempt, before we come, to ascertain by the Holy Spirit just where He will stand on the issues we will bring before Him? Should this not be reverently determined based upon our experience with Him in relationship. And if we decide to intercede for a city or a region and we know that we are opposing Him; we are holding Him back; we are standing in the gap: have we prayed about our grounds and pleadings before making such requests before the Holy Throne?

I thought, at this point, about the requirements that are in place to regulate the practice of law before the United States Supreme Court. No novice may practice there. He must be a member of his State Bar for three years and must be in good standing there and be qualified to practice in the highest court of his or her State. Then, also consider the care with which such an attorney must tread before those nine justices and how they have the authority to remand one to incarceration for an indefinite time if they determine that the attorney is in contempt of their court. No one can countermand their ruling. I stand as one who believes there will, one day, be a cost for such careless trampling of God's courts around His throne. I caution you all to proceed with great care, for the hour is late and the Lord is ready to pour forth in great anger. Grace and mercy has a limit. It can reach a point when it is all exhausted. We, in this nation, must be nearing this point. You do not want to be held in contempt of court by the highest court in the universe.
