TODAY'S WORD
A CHURCH WITHOUT VISION:
ON THE WAY TO THE TENT OF MEETING

INTRODUCTION
These two words: “without vision”, have been reverberating in my spirit over the last several days. This endless, spiritual repetition of two words accurately describes “churchianity” as it is presently experienced in these United States of America.

When I speak of “churchianity”, I speak of principally all meetings of Christians where more than 40 believers attend in any building that is not a private home. I also speak of principally every representation of “Christian religion” that is set forth on television or on radio. The whole crowd: priest, prophet and parishioner, are under the judgement, and are completely lost. The two word phase: “without vision”, is the concise explanation for this judgement.

Certainly, there must be an exception or two to this blanket statement, but I am not personally aware of any exceptions to this blanket of blindness.

During the last year, I have been traveling extensively, back and forth to several nations in the ministry of the gospel as a prophet of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Christian church in Kenya, for example, is “without vision” in the large cities, but real churches are thriving in the smaller towns and villages.

The situation is much more dire in my home country, however. There is nowhere for the believer to go to hear the word of the Lord. Everywhere are programs and more programs. The word of the Lord has become scarce. How did this happen?

Oftentimes, and it happened even today, someone inquires of me: “What should I do?” This article is an attempt to answer that question.

PROPHETS AND VISION
God has sent his prophets to America. Their message has, with one voice, been one of warning. Terrible and frightening judgements are prophesied for America. The land is in danger of vomiting out its inhabitants.

This is not a feel good vision for those who are still in the world, and for those who still love the things of this world. Everyone is going to suffer loss.

As in the days of Jeremiah, however, the prophecy for the remnant is very good. God is with the remnant, to watch over her. God is raising up mature sons and daughters, and filling them with His spirit without measure. They have begun to minister in the fullness of the seven spirits of God. He is sealing the remnant ahead of the judgements. His wrathful judgements have begun to sweep the Earth, and have begun in His house. The fear of the Lord will return to His true house.

The accusation against this vision by the religious establishment has been uniformly in agreement with Jeremiah 38:4—

“4 Therefore the princes said unto the king, We beseech thee, let this man be put to death: for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.”

The accusation is that the true vision of God, as it has been delivered through His prophets, will weaken the hands of men of war, and the hands of all the people. They argue that the church will not be built with such a terrible and dire vision. The implication is that if the people are weakened, and their warriors are weakened, they will perish as a result of seeing the accurate vision from God.

Though they do not phrase their attack against the true prophets in quite this way, it is the underlying essence of what they are saying, and it is the meaning that is at the root of it.

Scripture says just the opposite however, in the familiar passage from Proverbs 29. It is when we have no true vision from God that we perish. It is always best to begin with the true vision from God, even if that vision frightens and unsettles us.

Study of the book of Jeremiah reveals that many false prophets came to assure the people that they should hold on to their comfortable visions of a secure future bathed in the blessings of God. This has happened today. To believe in the false prophets meant that you continued attending synagogue in Jerusalem, and continued contributing to the support of the existing religious system. To believe in what Jeremiah and Ezekiel were saying meant that you embraced the judgement, surrendered to it, and found a way to thrive in the midst of it. Jeremiah told the remnant in exile that it would be good for them if they prospered in their captivity. Ezekiel said the same thing. The captivity would be long: they should embrace it.

How should this be applied today? How should the believer behave who sees an accurate vision from God concerning the future of the United States, and of the church within her? Many people write to me, not knowing what they should do. What steps will that believer take? How can the modern day believer prosper in his or her Babylon?

AN ASIDE
I am in fellowship with a large number of prophetic people. Some have left the existing American churches, but many continue on in regular attendance at worship services, and some are still fully involved and supportive of a local church.

In most cases, the prophets have no voice in the local church. They continue on with their involvement for various reasons, ranging from tradition, to the idea that their children need a program to be a part of.

There are those who still are asked to speak to the congregations, but even these report that the people who hear their words tend to tolerate them, and do not embrace the words of warning they give.

Thus far, I am not aware that any local church has gone so far as to gather believers for discussions about planning for a future where relocating from coastal regions to mountainous central regions of our nation will be a necessity for survival. The consideration of such, in a public forum, has a very negative connotation in the eyes of most Americans, given the highly publicized activities surrounding the followers of Jim Jones, and other cult groups that always seem oriented toward gathering people to a commune like setting in the wilderness.

So, the pastors are really no more to blame than the people in most cases. Americans in general do not want to look the future in the eye that the Spirit of God has been warning them about. It has been more acceptable to bury our heads in the sand.

Nevertheless, we must, somehow, begin to discuss such things. There is not so much the need to flee right now as there is the need to begin with some planning, and also with acquisition of needed supplies.

PLANNING BASED ON AN ACCURATE AND TRUE VISION
God has revealed seven basic types of judgements to His prophets that are going to be poured out upon America. No one, to my knowledge, has been shown the exact order of occurrence of these judgements. We have seen what is coming in part.

You can review the latest prophecy, organized according to the seven types of judgements, at this link: Report From The Tower

My initial response to what I saw in visions from God was to form the WPA Emergency Alert System. That system was my response to visions of a coastal asteroid/tsunami disaster that would affect the East and South coasts of the USA. God told us that He was going to give us an advance alert, and we would need to flee to inland, mountainous areas at some future date.

Armed with that information, I began to plan: 1) an escape strategy and 2) a destination that would be safe from judgement type number 1: the asteroid/tsunami. Obviously, prayers for more light from God, and His help, continued to be made. That may have seemed odd to some, but to me, doing nothing was not an option. God must have a way to bless his faithful remnant in the midst of terrible times.

During the last four years, I have prayerfully considered the other six judgement types that will befall the USA. I have studied and carefully weighed the words of more than 200 prophets. Four of these judgement types will have effect primarily on coastal US cities or points overseas: volcanoes, earthquakes in California, terrorism attacks and attacks against US military shipping will have, primarily, a coastal effect.

There are two of the seven types of judgements that prophets have foreseen that will affect the interior regions of the continental 48 states: Invasion by foreign armies, and the New Madrid Earthquake. Potentially, there is one volcano: Yellowstone, that may also have an interior effect. The invasion, which would follow a substantial nuclear attack against the US, is thought by most to fall later in the progression of the seven types of judgements. That is in agreement with the Holy Spirit, as He has been leading us to plan for gathering to the interior states: particularly those with mountainous regions.

PREPARATION PHASE NUMBER ONE-CONTINGENCY ESCAPE PLAN TO TENNESSEE
I chose the areas of central Tennessee as a destination for the WPA Emergency Alert System because of those safe mountainous regions, and also because, historically, they fared well during the last terrible earthquakes along the New Madrid fault, almost two hundred years ago. It seems clear to me that this area will fare well during the asteroid/tsunami judgement. I have had prophetic confirmation of that. Other prophets have also indicated that these central Tennessee regions will be safe zones. Parts of Western Arkansas have also been so indicated.

The general plan is to gather to these safe areas; to gradually prepare them; and then to be ready for a massive influx of people in the days just prior to the commencement of these things. Hopefully, we will have a group of substantial size, with strong believers and many prophets in our midst. Hopefully, God will grant us a few more years, and sufficient money to do the job. Hopefully, we will have had opportunity to prepare a gathering place in advance, and stock it with supplies that would be crucial in such a stressful time.

Right now, all we have is a conceptual plan, with individuals who have prepared in ways and with supplies that may be transported.

Further preparation does not necessarily call for the establishment of any “Jim Jones” style of commune. I am not calling for anyone to move now, nor am I prepared to do so. I have no command from the Lord to move at this time. Perhaps one or two WPA families could move there, and develop a supply depot of sorts. Or, perhaps WPA might develop a mission station, with a ministry center and cabins attached. Some of us rejoice at the prospect of a physical place, in Tennessee, where we might gather often to seek the Lord.

I had hoped that perhaps a local church might embrace this idea, but as yet, that has not happened.

There has, however, been much interest by several hundred individuals, who are scattered throughout the country. Most of them have gathered to Watchmen Prophets Assembly, which today, has 323 members.

My argument to any local church pastor is that to do, as you have done to date, is to build on sand. Everything you build will be swept away. How can you look at the recent Asian tsunami, and conclude that many areas in America are not just as ripe for destruction as that area was. What you are building is not sustainable or survivable. I do not say that you should abandon all classical Christian teaching or programs. Rather, I say that you should add prayer and planning meetings to seek the Lord, and to receive a vision for a sustainable future. You should become a contingency planner. You should be ready, watchful and in prayer concerning these things, so that they do not catch your church like a thief.

My plan for construction of safe gathering places in Tennessee is sustainable; to a measure and for a season. The day will come when the remnant will have to move elsewhere, away from even a Tennessee or Arkansas, if it is to survive the sword of the invader.

My strong belief is that any invader will be required by God to treat me and others of the obedient remnant of God as Nebuzaradan treated Jeremiah: I will be given my choice of where I want to be taken to. At the present time, my choice would be……………… Webuye, Western Province, Kenya.

PREPARATION PHASE NUMBER TWO-DEVELOPMENT OF SAFE AREAS IN KENYA, COLOMBIA AND HAITI
God has revealed through his prophets for thousands of years that all areas of the world will not be affected in the same way by the events at the time of the end. During these latter days, God has given additional light.

Places that have been in great darkness during the last several hundred years are suddenly seeing a great light. Revival fire is burning brightly in Kenya. I have already been there, and ministered in the midst of it. I believe it will also come forth in Colombia and Haiti, as prophesied.

I know, for example, that Kenya, particularly the areas of the Western Province, will be good places for the Christian remnant to gather. For this to happen, some of us have to go forth as trail blazers and camp builders. I have already begun this work. Now, others will join me in it.

Along the way, we will win many hundreds of thousands of souls to Christ in Africa, Haiti and South America. All of you will obtain your soul winners crowns. You will do the work of an evangelist, and you will be working toward a sustainable future, based upon a vision for the future that was given by God to His church in America.

REBUTTALS
The vision, as I have outlined it, has been uniformly rejected by establishment, institutional Christianity in the United States. I believe that if we are correct, and we have the accurate vision of the future of our nation, then we should be able to consider and confront the best of the objections against what we propose. So many people begin with a static mindset, and then gather facts and arguments to prove to themselves that they are right. I have no interest in doing that, nor do I have any vested interest in any outcome or plan of action. I only seek to obtain the accurate vision, and to formulate the best plan for working within that vision that will result in a blessing to the remnant.

Objection 1 is offered that we, as prophets, have made many predictions in the past that have not occurred. Attention is drawn to our prayer alert for November 11, 2003, and the fact that the day passed without an asteroid impact. My answer is that we put forth that date not as an absolute, lock solid prediction, but as a warning that intercession needed to be made. I am of the opinion that the passing of that date without incident was an intercessional victory, and not a prophetic failure. The actual fact is that none of the prophets with me have set a definite date for the commencement of any of these events. This truth has given rise to objection 2, as outlined next.

Objection 2 is that we have no idea when these events will commence, and therefore, the pastors are unwilling to “rock the Christian boat” with warnings about events that may be ten, twenty or thirty years in the future. My answer is that every leading of the Holy Spirit is that these events are “at the door”. We, as prophets, do not have the luxury of sitting upon warnings that we see and perceive. We are obligated to blow the trumpet when we see the sword of destruction arising on the horizon. Furthermore, many of us have received warnings that these events are set to commence at any moment. We can only hope that we have a year or two or three remaining. Any remaining time granted by God would be by His grace alone.

CONCLUDING REMARKS CONCERNING THE VISION
So, there is my vision for the ministry. I seek to provide a place of shelter for many from the storm that is approaching our nation. From that place, we can go out to minister as the storm waxes and wanes. We can return to the ministry center as we need to take shelter. Then, at the appropriate time, we can disperse to other lands as the Holy Spirit will direct. We will make advance preparations in other lands along these lines. We can be fruitful, we can win souls to Christ for the balance of our lives and we can each of us finish our course. We can have productive Christian lives in the midst of our Babylon.

THE JOURNEY TO THE TENT OF MEETING
I now find myself, with several others, on a journey to the tent of meeting. Prophetess Kay Lynn Manker prophesied about this day on January 24, 2001, at the very outset of Watchmen Prophets Assembly. When she prophesied it, I had no idea what she was talking about. It is exactly as she saw it. I NOW FIND MYSELF on that journey with others who are with me.

The tent of meeting, as discussed in Exodus 33, was the silent response by Moses to the apostasy in the camp. He did not give a speech, or call for an assembly. He simply moved the tent of meeting to a place several thousand feet outside of, and above the camp. He withdrew, and there, he met with the Lord.

7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

Moses had seen what the people had done: they had built a golden calf idol. God had responded by offering to send His angel ahead of the people, but God would not go with them any more. Oh, how this grieved the heart of Moses. Moses would not let that rest, so he separated himself from the crowd.

When Moses went out, God came out with him, and then, others came out too….to seek the Lord. That has happened with Watchmen Prophets Assembly. Some of us have come completely out of the existing church system. Others are still halting between two opinions. It is clear that we are on the way out…….all the way out. That is our own journey to the tent of meeting. We are on that journey together.

Now, when Moses did this, and others came out with him, what followed was the most intimate time of relationship between God and Moses. We at WPA have recently had a taste of that greater intimacy at Monteagle, TN.

8 And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
9 And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.
10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
11 And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

PREPARATION STEPS FOR THE REMNANT BELIEVER
I won’t tell you to do anything that I have not done myself. The list below is a seven step approach that I have adopted as the cornerstone of my own journey to the tent of meeting. I have already done it: quietly.

Some have asked me what they should do in light of this prophetic information and vision. This is what I have done in my effort to separate myself from the apostasy of the camp, to prepare for what is coming, and to seek the Lord. Some of you have followed me out to the tent of meeting, in an effort to seek the Lord:

1) To stop financially contributing to any church or any ministry that does not have an accurate, sustainable and survivable vision from God;

2) To prayerfully consider what my investment in time should be to any church or ministry that has no accurate or sustainable vision from the Lord;

3) To make physical and spiritual preparations for hard times to come;

4) To develop a family emergency escape plan, and to offer that plan to others as a blessing to them. This began as an escape plan from the Southeast US coast, where I live. It is expanding to other regions;

5) To direct my financial giving to orphans, the poor, the sick, the lame, widows, overseas soul winning missions and to ministries that have an accurate and sustainable vision from the Lord. I do not give to any church, ministry or individual where any taint of covetousness exists. I have increased my giving to radical levels, far beyond the tithe;

6) To form plans to host missions and prophetic conferences of Watchmen Prophets Assembly in the future, during April and October;

7) To develop plans for travel for evangelistic and prophetic ministry in Africa, Central and South America, and to plan for how I can offer expanded opportunities to other, like minded individuals. Further expansion to India and Asia are contemplated.

WORLD SALT FOUNDATION, INC.
On January 24, 2005, I was asked to assume the headship of this organization by the founder and chairman: Roger Heim.

Today, I took note that Roger did this four years after the prophecy of Kay Lynn Manker: to the day.

I plan to utilize this almost thirty year old charitable organization to flesh out some of the visions and ideas I have discussed in the foregoing paragraphs. World Salt has sent hundreds of missionaries to foreign fields of service, and I hope it will continue to do this, and more.

Initially, World Salt will hold two board meetings this year: In April and October, as it has done for more than a decade. These will also constitute meetings of Watchmen Prophets Assembly. I would like for the April meeting to be held in Atlanta, and the October meeting to return to Monteagle.

World Salt will be the organization that will drill the water wells in Kenya. That I have decided upon. But, I would also like for World Salt to take a lead role in establishing a physical presence in Tennessee: perhaps in the Beersheba Springs/Gruetli Lager area that the Holy Spirit has been pointing at. World Salt can also offer the sending cover to any Watchmen Prophets Assembly member who wishes to work as a missionary evangelist.

World Salt has its 501c3 tax exemption in good standing. Anyone who wants to contribute to it may send a check, in the name of World Salt Foundation, Inc., to my address, care of:

World Salt Foundation, Inc. c/o
Stephen L. Bening
6810 Lee Street
Hollywood, FL 33024

I have asked Joseph Cook and Randy McKee to join me as new directors of this organization. The organization has other directors who will be holding over into my tenure. We will utilize any funds that you contribute to accomplish the goals that I have already stated.

Hopefully, we have an accurate vision from God. I believe we do. This has not developed over night, or in a corner. I also believe it is the very best plan to operate within that God given vision. We intend to continue to seek the Lord for clarity of that vision, and for His help in navigating our way through the accomplishing of it.

Blessings,
Stephen L. Bening

My Africa Wish List Is As Follows:

Project #1-$100,000-For 100 water wells, beginning at Kittui. This money will purchase drilling equipment and a large truck to carry it in. This week, I will shop for a small "Hi-Rider" truck for carrying men and fuel. Received thus far: $7,000

Project #2-$5,000-Two, 250 person event tents-cost $2,500 each. I have already visited the tent manufacturer in Nairobi. We need this tent for holding bigger crusades in Kenya.

Project #3-$7,500-We need to purchase a sound system for use in the Kenya crusades. I am planning on being in Africa, four times per year. We rented the sound system for the three events we just held. We anticipate holding bigger events, and we will need a more powerful system. With the sound system, we need a generator to power it.

Project #4-$5,000-A truck for David Machimbo Walukhu, my missions coordinator, in Kenya. Right now, David has no vehicle, and travels by bus. I am shopping for one this week, for dual use with the water project.

Project #5-$2,500-Repair for a large, panel Isuzu truck, that is currently sitting idle at Sowetto Academy, Nairobi. We will use this truck for hauling of tent and equipment. Praise God! Chris got this truck fixed.

Project #6-$5,000-Completion of the stone wall that will totally encircle Sowetto Academy. This is really needed to keep people from using walkways right through the middle of the school and orphanage. Right now, the wall is about 25% complete.

Project #7-$20,000-My estimate for the cost that it would take for Chris Ocumu to accomplish a second floor addition to the school building in Sowetto Academy. Praise God! This is almost complete on January 20, 2005. Only the roof is needed for $50,000 KSH ($600)

So, there it is: $60,000 for the equipment. Add in $10,000 for my airfare and costs for four trips per year, and $10,000 for flyers and posters and $20,000 for other event costs for the 2005 outreach events and you have $100,000. Jesus says, "you have not because you ask not". I say, Lord Jesus, I Am Asking!
