This is Mayakka State Park., which gets it's name from the Myakka River which runs through it forming a three mile lake. If you look slightly to the left of the center of picture, you can see one of Florida's "greatest attractions", the American Alligator. This one is one the small side, approximately four to five feet long. My friendly "neighborhood" Alligator is approximately six to eight feet long.
