| Welcome to Lunch Bunch! Flavia Grant The Lunch Bunch program is well underway and we want to thank all the volunteers who have made the commitment to read this year. Lunch Bunch is a wonderful reading program enjoyed by the children, as well as by the volunteers. The children in every class are divided into groups and assigned a volunteer reader. Every week on their assigned day, they are read to during their lunch time. Volunteers may choose to read under a tree on a blanket or at one of our picnic tables. We ask that all volunteers remember to follow the guidelines as set forth by the committee. If you have not received this information, you may obtain a copy from your group's teacher or from me. Parents who have not submitted their child's permission slip, please do so. Children are not allowed to participate without parental consent. There are some classes that still need readers. If you have an extra half hour a week that you can spare to volunteer for this program, please let me know. We want every child to have the opportunity to participate.
