This song has a special place in our hearts. We were only allowed to spend a few short hours together for the three days I was there after having been apart for ten weeks. This particlar song was popular on the charts at this time. It was also the theme song from the movie "Armegeddon" which was the last movie we saw before he left for the Army. We were talking about the song the last night I was there. On the cab ride back to the base, it came on the radio. When we pulled up to where he had to get out, the song wasn't over yet. We asked the cab driver if we could sit and listen to it for a minute. He was the best cab driver. He turned the radio up and got out the cab and let us sit there alone till the song ended. Julio and I just stared deep into each other while the song played. It felt like the song lasted so long. It was one of the most beautiful memories we have shared. When the song was over, we kissed goodbye. A kiss that would have to last for eight weeks till we could see each other again.
