My paintings use powerful colors and all are in an acrylic medium.,
I attempt to re-create the vivid and powerful colors similar to what nature uses. I was born in Pensacola, Florida, and am of Cherokee/Creek heritage.
My Native American art tries to promote, preserve and protect a traditional art form and culture.
I offer a wide variety of subject matter including western American landscapes, and wildlife arts and crafts. For the past 10 years I have devoted all my energies to Native American and western studies.
Most of my work is concentrated in the Native American arts, but in recent years I also have been painting a lot of wildlife and western art.
All Mandala's are painted on leather (or canvas, if you prefer) and mounted in a circle frame ( called the circle of life), covered with soft leather or deer hide then decorated with feathers, glass crow beads, and fetishes. Also, if you have any personal questions regarding culture, keep in mind, I do not know everything about Native American culture, I'm an Artist not an historian.
