Well, we've lost another one. Cheri Oteri won't be returning to SNL this season either.

CHERI OTERI exits ``Saturday Night Live'' Cheri Oteri has decided to leave ``Saturday Night Live'' after five years of playing sketch characters from Barbara Walters to Ross Perot, Judge Judy and the Cheerleader. Oteri was part of the ensemble in the Dimension hit ``Scary Movie,'' and recently got an Emmy nomination for guest starring on ``Just Shoot Me.'' Sources said she's had overtures from studios and networks to go the sitcom route for some time, so it's likely she'll be shopped for a deal right away.

It looks as though Colin Quinn and Tim Meadows won't be return next season. Read this article from E! Online if you don't believe me. Some of you already know this, but I'm saying it anyway. Some of the current cast proabably won't be returning next season. Those of you who are sad about it, save some tears until you know for sure, and those of you who are happy about this, get up and dance, it's your lucky day! If you don't believe me, read this piece of an article from the New York Times.

"Meanwhile, questions surrounding the current cast loom as well. In a recent CNBC interview, "SNL" boss Lorne Michaels said, 'The contracts are up for a good many of the cast, and I think alot of them....are looking to move on.' The likely evacuees: Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Cheri Oteri, Colin Quinn, and Molly Shannon. The good news: their losses, assuming they happen, will affect the 2000-2001 season, and only indirectly this one."
