"Cool," Christy said.
"Dude!" Julie exclaimed.
"Wow," Shiara said.
"AAAAAAA!" Candice shrieked, jumping up and down for a brief moment. "I can't believe we're here!"
Chris stared at her blankly for a minute, then began jumping up and down. "AAAAAAA!" he yelled.
"Ohh, how cute," Christy remarked when Panda and Bear walked to her and looked up at her with big, glassy eyes. AJ grinned.
"Okay, let me get the names right," AJ said. He pointed at Julie. "You're... Julie, Shiara, you're... Christy, and Candice."
"Good job!" Candice said. "So you know our names. What else do you know about us?"
AJ started to open his mouth to say something, but Brian cut him short. "Let's get you ladies settled upstairs. Your rooms are at the end of th hallway, on the right side.
"Need any help getting your stuff upstairs?" Lance asked Candice.
"Oh, no, I'm fine," Candice said. "I don't know about Christy, though. She's got all of her art supplies, and it'll be hard to take that and-"
"Candice, I can ask for help myself." Christy smiled.
"You need help?"
"You want to help?"
"Sure." Lance picked up two of Christy's bags and began heading upstairs.
"Let's go!" Julie yelled. "I've got to check out my room!"
Before the girls had gotten to the house, they had filled out request froms for what they wanted in their rooms. It was them left up to the house designers to set up things right.
"Christy, your room is the first one on the right, Shiara, yours is the one across from hers, Julie, you have the room next to Shiara's, and Candice, you're next door to Christy," JC said, giving room directions.
Chris added, "When you get into your rooms, make sure to check the closet."
"The closet? Why?" Candice asked.
"Candice, just do it!" Christy said. "You'll find out anyway, but now your curiousity just don't pay."
"What the hell. You're right." Candice headed to her room. She opened the door, and turned on the light. Her room was painted midnight blue on tow walls paralell to each other and lilac on the other walls. The ceiling and the walls were dotted with glow-in-the-dark stars. The bed was a black brass canopy bed with navy blue and white blankets, and silver star-shaped pillows, and was curtained with white sheer curtains. There was a clear inflatable couch in the corner, across from it was a white desk with a laptop sitting on it, and next to the desk was a white chest of drawers with a mirror attached to it.
"Whoa," Candice said. "This is phat."
Christy stood in her room, just as awed. She, like Candice, had a moon and stars theme, only toned down and with a bit of a jungle theme thrown in. One of the walls was painted with a leopard design, and the others were painted blue. There was a string of Christmas lights hanging above them.
The bed was black brass, with leopard print blankets and pillows. Right at the foot of it was a bright stuffed parrot, and in the right corner of the room was a desk like the one in Candice's room, but Christy's was well stocked with art supplies.
Shiara's room had a futuristic club theme. The floor had light panels that lit up as she walked on them, and laser lights and a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. "Cool," she said to herself. Also in her room was a huge stero system, and in one corner was a stoplight that blinked on.
"Dude!" Julie yelled as she walked into her room. It was bright and had a tropical theme going on. The sheets and blankets on her bed were Hawaiian print, and she even had a hammock in the corner. A rack with surfboards was close to the closet, and the throw rug on the left of the bed was shaped like a fish.
"Guys, I've got the most awesome room!" Julie yelled when she came into the hallway.
"Y'all should see my room!" Candice said. "It's PHAT!"
Shiara walked out next. "I've got lasers, lights, and a huge stereo in my room," she told the girls.
"I've got everything I wanted in my room and more!" Christy joined the girls. "It rocks!"
"I know!" Candice said.
"Let's see everyone's rooms," Julie said.
They went on a tour of all the girls' rooms. Everyone "oohed" and "aahed" in admiration over the contents of each bedroom. When they got to Candice's room, Christy remembered what Chris had said. "Hey Candice, remember what Chris said about checking the closet?"
"What about checking the closet?" Candice rolled over the bed and crawled to the closet, and flung open the door.. "Presents!" she shrieked.
"They gave us presents?!" Julie said. "I'm going to see what I got!" She ran off to her room.
"Ditto," Christy said, following Julie's lead.
"Aren't you going to go, Shiara?" Candice asked
"Nah, I'll stay here. I want to see what you got."
"Alrighty then," Candice said, rubbing her hands together eagerly. "Okay, this one's from Kevin." She tore open the papaer. "Cool! A Polaroid camera. Pass me that next bag. It's from Chris and Joey. Wonder what it is?" As soon as she got the bag open, Shiara looked in and said, "Ooh, clothes!"
"Ohmigod, they got me a personalized FuMan Skeeto shirt! Sweet! Let's see, this one's from Brian. Aww, he gave me this." Candice held up a day planner with Snoopy atop his doghouse done on it. She unzipped it and flipped to the first page of the notebook inside it. "'I know that you like Snoopy, and I know that you like to write, so I got you this'," she read. "'Love, Brian'."
"That's sweet."
"I know! Okay, JC got me a lava lamp, Justin got me a Yankees cap and jersey, AJ and Nick got me a leopard print cowboy hat and bag, Lance got me that Peanuts' golden edition book, and..... ohmigod!"
"What? What?" Shiara asked.
"Look what I got from you-know-who," Candice held up a Carolina Hurricanes jersey. "Look familiar?"
Shiara's eyes got wide. "You mean he gave that to you?"
"Yeah."
"Ooh, girl!" Shiara squealed. "You're so lucky!"
Christy came back into the room. Man, I got some cool stuff. Whoa, who gave you that?" She pointed to the Hurricanes jersey.
"Guess," Candice said as she slipped it on. "Curly haired Backstreet Boy with an unbelivably hot body."
"Bet you're happy," Christy said.
"Heck yeah!"
Shiara got up. "I'm going to see what I got." She walked out.
Christy sat on the bad and sighed. "This has gotta be one of the best days of my life," she said.
"I know," Candice said once again.
"Well, I'm gonna go downstairs. You know, check out the house."
"And possibly somebody?" Candice called after her.
"Candice. Don't even-"
"You go Christy!"
"Please!" Christy popped her head back into Candice's room for a brief second. "I am not going to do anything like that right away," she said.
"Come on, Christy. We're talking Lance Bass here! What could he do to you?"
She might be right..... Christy thought. But I've still got to earn his trust. "Nothing, I guess," she answered. "But I don't like to put the moves on anyone right now."
"Whatever." Candice laid across the bed. "Go on ahead. Have fun!" She looked at the ceiling and sighed. "My life right now is too sweet," she said to herself.
