Body: Silver Tinsel

Shellback/Appendages: Pheasant Tail Fibers

 Thread: Black 8/0

            Start this fly by tying in 10 pheasant tail fibers and covering them with thread till you reach the point above the barb. Advance the thread to the front of the hook and tie in a strip of flat silver tinsel. Wrap the tinsel down the body and back to the front of the hook and tie the tinsel off. Pull the pheasant tail fibers forward over the body and bind down behind the hook eye. Now pull the extending pheasant tips backwards and cover with thread wraps creating a swept look to the pheasant fibers (the tips should extend to the rear of the hook). Whip finish and cement.
