Hook: Mustad Size 10 (2x)

Body: Spun Deer Hair

Hackle: Two Grouse Hackle Feathers

            Start by wrapping the hook shank with thread very sparsely (not to much or will prevent spinning of hair) all the way to the point above the barb. From he spin small clumps of deer hair very tightly till you reach the 1/4 mark. Take scissors or razor and shape the deer hair till you have a cigar shaped body. Tie in two grouse Hackle feathers ( might need to be soaked if not very flexible) wet style. Wrap these feathers till you have a very bushy hackle, then form a small head and whip finish and cement.
