Mr. Bill Ayer, Commander of VFW Post #1898 Pittsburg, California at meeting held August 15, 00, has appointed me Elvin F. Scott, Committee Chairman to look into fighting to ensure and honor the promises made to veterans. I have some who said, "Will serve on this Committee", plus have been asked to come to a Commanders meeting and bring the paper work that will assist us as veterans to protect our benefits and entitlements and to also protect all of the public in this year 2000.
EXAMPLE: CENTER, STARTS WITH A LETTER TO MR. DOUGLAS J. BARNE, DATED JUNE 5, 2000 SENT BY MR. COLONEL L. BOWEN, WITH SOME VERY INTERESTING QUESTION'S.
LETTER OF 6-15-00 LYING TO (IRS) ABOUT MR. BOWEN, CASHING HIS CHECK. SOMEONE FROM CARPENTERS OR THE LATHING - TRUST, CASHED MR. BOWENS CHECK FOR OVER $7,000.00 AND KEPT THE MONEY. THEN FILING A REPORT WITH THE IRS THAT MR BOWEN, HAD CASHED CHECK. AS OF 9-15-00, NO ANSWERS FROM THE IRS.
"MR. BOWEN, THAT WAS FRAUD AND INTIMIDATING, AND AS YOU KNOW THAT IS A CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION, AND DOING 300 OTHER MEMBERS OUT OF THEIR MONEY BY SAYING THEYCOULD NOT LOCATE THE PRINCIPAL. "YOU ARE PROTECTED UNDER PBGC"
THE MONEY IS SUPPOSED TO BE TURNED OVER TO THE SEC. OF STATE "THAT THE TRUST OR TRUSTS DID NOT DO." YOU WOULD BE PROTECTED UNDER THE PBGC, ON THIS. BECAUSE IT WAS WRONG, NO INTEREST AND NOT RIGHT PRINCIPLE. NO PROTECTION. MR. BOWEN STATES, " NOW THE LATEST FRAUD TRACING CHECK, AND WHO CAHSED CHECK, THEN LYING TO IRS" (WHO? WHO? WHO?) MR. BOWEN, NOT PROTECTED.
