TAKE THE LATHERS IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA EXAMPLE: Mr. Colonel Bowen, a LATHER brought charges of substantial theft of funds from the Trust FUNDS OF THEIR PENSION PLAN. The AMINISTRATOR AND CERTAIN TRUSTEES, of The LATHERS, in Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA PROSECUTION RESULTED IN SOME JAIL SENTENCES. Mr. Bowen 's, Money from $6,500.00, to $4,300.00, TOTALS $2,200.00 one third missing, he sent back check claiming fraud, has not cashed said check to this date of 2000.

UNIONS AND THE TRUSTEES HAD TO SIGN ON FOR THIS BECAUSE IT EFECTED EVERY SUBORDINATE BODY OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNION IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENT GEORAPHICAL AREA AND AREAS IN THE DIFFERENT JURISDICTIONS FOR ALL OF THEIR FRINGE BENEFITS PLUS THEIR SERVICE PENSIONS IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. OTHERS HAVE INFORMED ME OF THIS INCLUDING SECRETARYS, TRUST PERSONS ATTORNEYS WHO SAID THEY HELP DRAW UP THIS ILEGAL FIVE YEARS THAT WAS ADDED ON TO ALL OF US SAID, "GET US IN A COURT ROOM WE ARE NOT GOING TO JAIL. Some of the participants of the Lathers, in Los Angeles, not only being penalized by the rules of the Lathers but in this year 2000,the Carpenters are getting into the act. Take the year 1987, went down to Los Angeles, CA, to a retirees meeting at this meeting I met one man who offered me, a thousand dollars I informed him that he should keep this money until we all could put in a little. MORE ON HIM AT A LATTER DATE.
Same day met a man and his wife one 80 and one 81, in our conversation he said, "Carpenters had Beat him out of half his pension". As we went along he and she said, "They were eating dog food". They stated they could not afford to eat on what the Carpenters Pension was paying them. They said, "To me, the more expensive dog food did not taste to bad if you could afford it, on Special occasions they would buy it and have a party". They did not give me their names. THE UNSCRUPULOUS HAVE TIED OUR HANDS BEHIND OUR BACKS, PLUS HOBBLED BOTH OUR LEGS AND FEET.
THIS SHOULD START TO GIVE AN INSIGHT OF WHATS GOING ON: Mr. Leroy L. Raute, a member of Carpenters Local Union #1062, in Santa Barbara,CA said, "He and I were in the office of Mr. R. W. Mansfield, Financial Secretary and Business Agent Of Carpenters Local Union #1062, in year 1966".
Mr. Raute, was the Recording Secretary for said Local #1062. Some of the members had received bad checks, I had three bad checks in a row. I informed Brother Mansfield, I was not going to work for Allied, as this also hurt my pension and other benefits. Brother Mansfield , Brother Raute, both said, "It was my duty to go out as a Union STEWARD to Protect the members of our Local". Dispatched as a UNION STEWARD BY MR. MANSFIELD. Once again Brother Mansfield, Said, "Your Past Service Credits were protected by the Carpenter agreements made with the EMPLOYERS, in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, by a per-cent per-hour worked by the CURRENT MEMBERS and the FUTURE MEMBERS SO YOUR BENEFITS will be protected until all the PARTICIPANTS had passed on. This would be put into a special FUND to PROTECT not ONLY OUR-UNION-NON-UNION AND RELATED TRADES BUT WOULD PROTECT OUR MILITARY TIME AS WELL. AND OUR PAST SERVICE AND FUTURE SERVICE COUNTED SAME AS SOCIAL SECURITY.
In this same time frame Brother Mansfield, informed me and Brother Raute, he was signing for Carpenter members in Local Union #1062, PRIVATE INTERIM UNION CONTRACTS IN THE AREA AND JURISDICTION OF THIS LOCAL. TO PROTECT HIS MEMBERS IN the FUTURE.
