STATEMENT OF FAITH

1Peter 3:15 "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"



WE BELIEVE AND DECLARE THE FOLLOWING:

1. The Bible to be the divine, inerrant, preserved written word of God...
   
2. In a Triune Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit...One essence, one sovereign creator in 3 persons with 3 different ministries...
3. That all mankind is born spiritually dead to God...Enemies of God with sin natures...A state that must be changed by God before reconciliation and redemption can take place...
   
4. In the Deity of Jesus Christ...His virgin birth...His death and bodily resurrection...And we anxiously await His return...
   
5. The redemption & reconciliation of God's chosen people to Himself is His work alone...On the cross Christ became a sacrifice for them...Their sins were imputed(attributed) to Him...And He received their just punishment...Thus, His righteousness is imputed(attributed) to them...Clearing their sin record present, past and future...
   
6. A desire for a holy and righteous life must be present in a true believer's life, but is the result of their changed natures and hearts...Not works(with or without the power of the Holy Spirit)needed to obtain the reward of eternal life in heaven...
   
7. Those who God has chosen for His merciful gift of reconciliation...He also gives the gift of His Faith which enables them to believe and trust in His work alone for their eternal life...
   
8. All mankind is created for an eternal life...The redeemed with God in Heaven...The unredeemed in Hell...
   
9. The Church, is an organism which is bound together by the truth of the Holy Spirit...Not an organization bound together by the traditions and truths of Man...
   
10. Christ commissioned the Church to go into the entire world and preach the truth of the Gospel...
