This is a trick that will change Ramza into a Dark Knight. After you get Gafgarion in your party as a guest he will betray you at Zirekile Falls. Now, before this happens, Turn Ramza into a Knight and un-equip all of Gafgarion's equipment and put it all on Ramza, and turn gafgarion into a priest. Keep on playing into the game until you get to the Lionel Front gates (when you actually KILL Gafgarion). Now, make sure that you still have all of Gafgarion's equipment still on Ramza and go into the battle. After you kill everybody in the battle, Ramza will turn into and Dark Knight instead of the Squire Job. This trick does not work all of the time so be sure that you saved before you fought the battle at the Lionel Front Gates. If you at first fail, try, try again! (Ok, I would like to say this once and for all, this is NOT true, if you email me, or ask me about it, I will strangle you with my mouse cord. No matter how many times you try, it will not work, it is impossible, there IS NO DARK KNIGHT TRICK!!!!!!)
Materia Blade Trick
The Materia Blade is in the volcanoe south of Riovanes Castle. First off, equip some one with Move-find item and go to the battle at the volcanoe. Now move that person to the very top of the volcanoe and they will find the Materia Blade. The Materia Blade is Cloud's Weapon and without it, he can do his limit breaks.
Item Duplication Trick
Yes, there is an item duplication trick on Tactics, but it does'nt work on all of the items, only on the Swords, Knight Swords, and the Spears, but it can still be helpful because you can duplicate awesome swords like the Excalibur.
First,give someone the Two Swords ability. Equip a shield in the right hand and a weapon in the left hand and go to a shop in a Castle Like Igros or Riovanes or Lesalia and choose "fitting room". Choose "best fit" Now check to see if it was duplicated, which it probably was.
Deep Dungeon
The Deep Dungeon can be accessed after the path from Murond Holy Place to Goug Machine City opens up. Also, you need to be in Chapter 4. To access it, go to Warjilis Trade City and a little scene will come up with people talking about the Deep Dungeon. After you leave, a new path will have opened up towards an island east of Warjilis Trade City. This is Deep Dungeon. This place has so many goodies in it, so click here to learn how to get them all.
Stealing the Genji Set and the Masamune from Elmdor
Yes, you can steal from Elmdor. It might take a long time, but its well worth it. You can get the Genji Armor, Genji Helmet, Genji Gauntlet, Genji Shield, and the Masamune from him. It also helps to cast stop on him too.
Chaos Blade Trick
To get the Chaos Blade you need to go to the Horror level on the Deep Dungeon. Sometimes when you enter a battle there, there will be a whole bunch of Ninjas, like 9 I think. Now kill all of them but the chick Ninja. Now position all of your guys around her and she'll start throwing Chaos Blades at your guys, make sure that you have the skill "Catch" so that you can get these Chaos Blades! You can also come back to Horror whenever you want and get more!
Invincable Archer Trick
This trick is really cool if you like to have archers in your party like I do. Well here it is: To make an archer (virtually) invincable, Equip him with Secret Clothes. Now these clothes make your archer invisible! Equip him with the Perseus Bow (which is the best bow in the game) so that he will be able to deal more damage. Put some Germinas Boots and a Thief Hat and your all set! Now your archer can move farther, faster, jump higher, do MORE damage, and while he's doing all of this, he's INVISIBLE!
Secret Javelin
This is the BEST spear in the game called a Javelin, not the crappy Javelin that you can buy, but a 'turbo' Javelin so to speak. To get this Javelin, Turn one of you guys into a Lancer with 11 brave points and the Chemist skill "Move FindItem" and the Samurai skill "Blade Grasp". Now enter the battle at Nelveska Temple where you fight Worker 7 for a Zodiac Stone. (you gotta go to my Secret Charactors Page to find out how to get to fight Worker 7) Before the battle, put Worker 8 in your party. Now, when you enter the battle, put Worker 8 right by the pillar on the left side of the entrance to the temple. Now with your Lancer, move on top of that same pillar. Your Lancer will now get on top of Worker 8 and use him as a boost!There is also an awesome Escutcheon in one of the pillars too. This Escutcheon is the best shield in the game. Happy Gaming!
