Responsibilities: As Art Director, I oversaw all on-air and off-air design for both the broadcast and print departments. This included supervision of up to 13 artists as well as the Chyron operators. In addition to designing and supervising the creation of broadcast graphics, I also designed and oversaw the construction of a number of set pieces for in-house news productions. I was also responsible for the design and supervision of construction for an entirely new and expanded art department.

Title: Broadcast Design Supervisor
Responsibilities: Supervision of broadcast design department, including both the promotions and news department artist teams. In addition, I was responsible for creating on-air promotions and news graphics as well as outdoor signage, both for the station itself, such as building signage, inside and out, and outdoor promotions such as billboards.
Further, I was responsible for a large number of set designs for news and entertainment shows produced both in-house and out-of-house. This included designing sets for productions in New York, California, Texas and Chicago as well as designing sets for production aboard cruise ships. I was responsible for supervising the construction, load-in, set-up and load-out of these sets as well as the graphics that accompanied them.
Hardware and Software:
I have worked extensively on Quantel Paintbox, Macintosh and PC computers and am proficient on all three platforms.
I am highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Chryon Lyric and Quark Express.
I am experienced with Adobe Image Ready, Adobe Pagemaker, Newtek Lightwave 3D, Dreamweaver and Curious Maps. I also have some experience with HTML and XML.
Awards: Promax Golden Muse and an Addy Gold.
Furthermore, I feel that I have an edge over many designers in that I am also an experienced and accomplished artist, having over 30 years experience drawing and painting, Having had several one-man and group showings.
