Eddie Cibrian joins the cast of "Third Watch" from NBC's daytime drama "Sunset Beach".
"Jimmy Doherty is a dedicated and confident firefighter who will do whatever it takes to get the job done," says Cibrian of his "Third Watch" character. "He takes pride in his work, but also knows how to turn on the charm and have a little fun."
Just five months after his debut on "Sunset Beach," "TV Guide" named Cibrian one of Daytime's 12 Hottest Stars. The actor made a memorable feature-film debut in "Living Out Loud" as Holly Hunter's masseur. He also starred in the made-for-television movie entitled "Logan's War: Bound by Honor" with Chuck Norris.
Born and raised in California, Cibrian began his acting career as a child by landing a national Coca-Cola commercial on his very first audition. A number of other commercials soon followed, eventually leading to a starring role in Malcolm-Jamal Warner's Emmy Award-winning television special, "Kids Killing Kids." After that Cibrian began landing roles on daytime television. He starred for three years as Matt Clark on "The Young and the Restless," and his other daytime credits include a featured role on "The Bold and the Beautiful." In addition, he appeared in multiple episodes of "Beverly Hills, 90210" as well as on NBC's "Saved by the Bell: The College Years."
