Assalam O Alaikum. May Allah bless each and everyone of you with increasing
light and love of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). Amin.
This is a request/appeal to all Muslim Business in the United States and this
request may even be applicable worldwide.
Living in America and being Muslim at the same time is quite a challenge. But
everyday, it seems to be getting better and better.
However, there is one thing I am seeing that I feel needs to be addressed, and
I am sure so many more of you know the same.
We as Muslims are individuals, but we must never forget that as a collective,
we are ALL ONE FAMILY -- all connected, all part of each other, creating the
body of the Muslim Ummat.
It seems Muslim businesses, especially within the U.S. are struggling, some
more than others. But one vital ingredient that is missing is the fact that
Muslim businesses are not as connected in an Islamic infrastructure as they
ideally should be.
If Muslim Businesses would create a central coalition in which we buy only
Muslim, help other businesses to increase their Halal profits, and in turn join
together to help all those brothers and sisters in trials (The people of
Kosovo), through mass business funding, alongside the idea to keep expanding in
areas available, then our strength as a united Muslim Ummat would increase
dramatically on all levels.
This is not something new. I am sure all of you are aware of this fact. But
sometimes a sincere reminder cannot hurt.
Jewish businesses are dealing in the millions if not billions of dollars,
Chinese businesses are spreading like vines. Why? Because they are so closely
connected like a spider web. (One of the many reasons).
We as Muslims have even greater capacity but we must not alienate ourselves in
this aspect. We must pool together. Through these efforts, we will not be
losing, we will be inviting greater Mercy and Blessings from Allah, to
ourselves, our families and friends, and in turn we will see a Strong, United
Muslim Ummat rising to its peak in the new century. The motivation will keep
compounding.
Please, there is an overwhelming amount of progress that needs to be reached in
the Islamic world. Mashallah, I see our Ummat strengthening and uniting
everyday, and that results from the combined efforts of Allah and yourselves.
We have so many resources, so much, but it still slow. Let this be a sincere
reminder and let us renew our oaths as Muslims, and strengthen our efforts.
TO MUSLIM BUSINESSES AROUND THE WORLD:
Countries are only an identity, but the truth is that all Muslim businesses and
corporations and assets belong to the ONE ISLAMIC WORLD.
We need to merge our corporations together, we need character to define
business today -- Just as the Prophet (s.a.w), through his perfect character in
his business dealings. We need to evenly distribute the wealth of the Islamic
world --
We need to put our funds where they can multiply and benefit all, not just a
selected few. Trading and commerce should be more and more encouraged with
Muslim countries. If we do not exemplify character, and apply it to the places
needed, the economic corruption in many Islamic countries will remain the same.
These risks are necessary if we are to make lasting change. And if our
intentions are good, we only need have Faith in Allah, and His blessings will
pour down.
There is so much wealth in the Middle East, that if properly applied, the
Muslim Ummat would be dependent upon no one, and we would be able to
practically eliminate a multitude of Islamic problems that seem insurmountable
at the moment.
MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL :
ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HEART AND MIND IN ISLAM AND THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (S.A.W.),
WHILE YOUR HANDS ARE ENGAGED IN WORK.
FOCUS ON THE QURAN AS OUR LAW, THE SUNNAT OF THE PROPHET (S.A.W), AND KEEP ON
PLAYING THE CONSTANTLY IMPROVING ROLES OF THE WONDERFUL MUSLIMS YOU ARE ALL
(Whether you acknowledge this or not, all of you are beautiful to me.)
Please spread your ideas and intentions, nothing is too small or insignifigant
to make a postive change for Islam and our future generations.
Do not underestimate yourselves. As Muslims, you are all capable of the
impossible.
May Allah grant us continued growth and strength and unity. May Allah also
bless each and everyone of you with the Life, Light, and Love of the Holy
Prophet Muahmmad (s.a.w).
Inshallah, a great time is approaching very quickly for us all.
On a closing note, if I have offended any fellow Muslim by this message, please
accept my sincere apologies and send me your suggestions. But I hope you will
be able to feel my sincerity and accept that.
