SPECIAL MASONIC ENLIGHTENMENT PROJECT

Jim Hogg, PDDGM, has started conducting a special session once a month in the lodge. It is a "Masonic Enlightenment" project where the substance and meaning of the three craft degrees and their symbolism are discussed and taught. In February, the discussion covered Cuban Freemasonry and the Chamber of Reflection as used at the beginning of the Entered Apprentice Degree in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite version of the three craft, or symbolic degrees. SEE FOR DATES: Trestleboard Meeting and events information link above

Picture of our dining room

This photo was taken in 1985. From left to right: Earl Jutte, Bob Berczik, Dick Upham, Bill Dozier, Jim Hogg (as Master of the Lodge), Jim Michael. Back row: Bill Mazur.

Picture of our spacious lodgeroom.

This appears to be a picture of the very first officer's line when the lodge was chartered in 1967. Marshall Wilkins appears in the center (wearing hat) and it looks like Chet Townsend is on his immediate right (with the Past master's apron).

This is a picture of Jim Michael, our former Treasurer & Past Master.

This looks like the ground breaking for our first building at the corner of San Carlos Blvd & Summerlin Road, before Summerlin was even planned. There is a McDonald's on that corner today. Ralph Shaffer, in center holding shovel, was Master. To his immediate right is Louis A. Meyer, who was Secretary. On the far left is Jacob F. Woods, known as "Jake," who ultimately became Master and did a lot of work for the lodge. I cannot identify the rest of them yet.

PAST MASTERS OF THE LODGE

Pictures of our Past Masters. Some are old and faded and I just couldn't clean them up that well, so....I put them here anyway.

Wow!! They came out pretty good after all!

Bill Mazur served in 1984 & 1991
