When I discovered that Stone Temple Pilots were coming to the O'Connell Center on April 25, 2002, I knew I had to go. Not only go, I knew I needed to have the best seat in the house.

The day before tickets went on sale, I dragged my roommate's lounge chair out to the University box office and plopped myself down at 5:00 pm. All by myself. I had random people come up to me and ask what the hell I was doing, not believing that anyone would actually start camping out at 5:00 pm. I tried to convince myself that I was hardcore, and not just stupid.
