5-6-98 THE PLASTIC PORTS, Grey Marine Enterprises.

Years ago I needed parts so I wrote the address and got my letter returned. Local Marine supply stores were no help.

I have recently been in contact with JSI (THE SAILING SOURCE) about the GREY opening ports and LIN ROBSON was kind enough to return my e mail ? (took a couple of days) Lin wites "JSI carries a full line of Grey/Bomar opening ports and parts"

Should you need parts for your ports call Lin at 1 (800) 234-3220, or E mail lrobson@jsisail.com

JSI is based In Fla so you may also want to see if your local marine hardware store can get parts for the Grey/Bomar line.

Here is a link to Bomars main page , be sure to check out Bomars tech tips link

My 1978 27'. REPLACING THE HATCHES WAS NOT FUN

I believe mine were original and watkins used something similar to (or most likely did use) 5200 for an installation adhesive/sealant.

Each port took HOURS to remove and came apart in tiny pieces. Not a project to start Sun afternoon if you need to go to work Mon Morn !!
