I've noticed greater stability since service pack 1 on Win2k.Win2k still seems to have difficulty with new or added volumes. This is perhaps due to the update of the file system or the encryption standard of NTFS. This mostly seems to occur on SCSI drives, dynamic disks ;striped volumes etc.
