This is me a few years ago, a few pounds ago, a few less gray hairs ago. I was born in Miami, Florida, on September 3rd, hence, the "virgo" title. I lived there until 1981 when we moved to Orlando. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit 15 countries and 26 states. Please visit "My Travels" pages to see some of the places I have traveled to. I am also fluent in Spanish, the benefit of having been raised in a Spanish (from Asturias, Spain) household.

We have moved to Sevierville, Tennessee! Our new home is in Belle Meadows subdivision. This is what it looks like:

On the left is a picture of our home in Orlando, Florida. We have decided to keep our home in Florida also, at least for the time being, until we determine how much time we are actually going to be spending in each place and whether or not we like our East Tennessee home and climate enough to commit to spending at least half the year here. So far, so good. I love it here. It is such a beautiful area!

On the right, is our new home in East Tennessee. We are only about ten minutes from the Smoky Mountains. There have a spectacular view of the Smokies from the front porch and upstairs bedrooms. I have been visiting this area for several years now and always dreamed of moving there someday. However, I did not anticipate that I would actually buy a home there when we went to visit friends in October and to see the turning of the leaves.

"Ya'll come on back now, ya' hear?"

This is my darling Mother whom we lost in May, 1996.
She was a great lady; a devoted mother and daughter. We all
learned a lot from her and will always miss her. She was much
loved by all who knew her.

This was taken in Key West, Florida in August of '97. The best conch fritters in the world are found at that little stand. It's been there for a "hundred" years. (No, the "Captain" is not real. It is a statue special for picture taking. Have to laugh at how many people have asked me who the man is.)

My sister says she is the pretty one. I was about three years old here and she was about 1 1/2 years old. She has been a constant source of moral support for me through many bad times and I thank her and love her for it. I don't know what I would have done without her. She can be a "pain" sometimes (don't get mad at me, ok), but she always comes through for me and, after all, that is what really counts, isn't it?
Love ya', sis.
