On March 3, 1998, as most of my close friends know, my dog named Weiland (who was very special to me, and if you ask ANYONE who knew her, they would say she was the most kick ass dog ever) was hit by a car and killed. This all happened in the morning after i went to school, and i didn't know about it until i got home at about 9:00 that night (i had a softball game, so i did't get home till late). The next night (March 4) i had planned on going to see Everclear in Orlando. To make a long story short, i didn't go to school on the 4th, but i did go to the everclear concert and had the best time of my life. It was kind of my way of putting Weiland's death behind me... and i thank the band for that, even if it wasn't premeditated on their part.
At the concert i was right infront of Craig (as noted above, my favorite band member)... and we continuously made faces at eachother the whole night. Since that night i believe that everclear has become more and more important to me. Infact, i think So Much for the Afterglow is perminatly one of the cds in my cd player.
That's all i feel like writing right now... maybe i'll write more later... you'll just have to come back and check every now and then.
