TRUE GRACE defined

TRUE GRACE defined

It is needful to write and exhort the body of Christ, testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand because many false prophets and false doctrines have arose in these last days seducing and deceiving just as Gods' Holy Word said it would...Take heed that ye be not deceived or led away with the error of the wicked!!!

The purpose behind this Bible study is to recover the ancient landmarks which our forefathers have set up and shed their blood for. From Genesis to Revelation is "The Faith", "that way" and if we rightly divide the word of truth like Jesus did (Matt 4) and Paul and Barnabas did (Acts 15) and Jeremiah did (Jer 28), etc. etc.etc... you will see why we need to earnestly contend for "the faith" that was once delivered unto the saints for there are certain men crept in unawares , who before of old ordained to this condemation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, our Lord Jesus Christ

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear...

Keys to not being deceived in the last days...

1. Never be partial or bias with the Bible, it's the WORD of GOD!!! (Prov 11:14; 24:23-26; 2Tim 3:16; 1Cor 10:11)

2. The Apostles, Prophets and Jesus Christ the cheif cornerstone are the foundation we stand on, there is no other! For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end!(Eph 2:20;Heb 3:14;1Cor3:11)

3. Submit every doctrine, tradition, dream or vision to the fire of God's Word!(Jer 23:29; Matt 21:42,44; Rom 3:4)

let him that is athirst come!!!

The first things I would ask of any disciple of Jesus Christ who wants to know the truth is: What is GRACE? Define GRACE? Selah,

Many from all denominations will say right from the start without hestitating, "It's the Unmerited favor of God!" But is that famous quote what the Bible teaches you about the grace of God or is that what someone told it was.

First, let's look in the Strongs concordandce to find every time the word "grace" appears in the New Testament. There are two Greek words that translate into "grace". One of them appears only once, that is the word, "euprepeia" It's found in James 1:11. Please look it up, but that's not where we get the understanding of the grace of God that brings salvation!

The prominent and only other word for grace is found 127 times in the New Testament and it's the word, "charis". The simple defintion of the Greek word found in the Strong's is: 5485 charis = good will, loving-kindness, favour --of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues!!!
Notice it didn't say,"The merited favour of God" and it didn't say, "The unmerited favour of God" either! Just Favour.

Second, let's look at all 127 times it appears, yeidling ourselves to the Holy Spirit for the truth and we'll see why James Strong came up with this conculsion of the whole matter!
