This page is a tribute to a couple of good friends of mine. The first is Ellis "Cot" Deal. Cot played 4 seasons between the Boston Red Sox and St Louis Cardinals from 1947-1954. An arm injury cost him his pitching career, but his love for the game kept him right in it working in coaching and player development for the Colt 45s, Yankees, Kansas City A's, Indians, Tigers, and Astros organizations until his retirement in 1989. He also spent 3 years as a physical training insructor in the Army Air Corps. He's currently working on a book about his life in baseball.

Ever watch a Red Sox game on TV or live at Fenway? Ever see #12 sprinting back & forth between third base and the dugout? That's Wendell Kim! He's the Third Base Coach and Infield Coach of the Boston Red Sox. You can visit his home page at: Wendell Kim's Coach's Box
