I was born in Beirut, Lebanon and educated in Lebanon, India and USA. I am a citizen of the United States. Besides English, I am fluent in Hindi and Urdu and have a familiarity with spoken Arabic and Spanish. I have worked in construction, manufacturing, education and telecommunications industries. I have enjoyed working on NASA's Advance Communication Technology Satellite which was a part of my graduate research project at Ohio University (Electronically Hopping Spotbeam, Ka-Band, Dynamic Rain Fade Compensation, etc). Presently, I work for Samsung Telecommunications America. I am deploying/managing a 3G CDMA-2000 (EvDO) wireless network. In my previous assignment with Lucent Technologies, I was in the area of International network Operations. My recent scope of interest includes the PCS CDMA, Wimax, GSM, UMTS and other wireless telecom systems, IS-634, IS-95 & J-008 standards. I also have a good understanding of Lucent's Autoplex/Flexent system which includes the 5ESS switch. I have been employed in engineering, training, administration, labor relations and program/project management capacities. My current aspiration is to secure a professional leadership role that can maximize my past global experiences and education. I excel at hands-on field work and challenges for creative problem solving.
My parents are from India. Presently, I am a single parent. My daughter (Sierra) is doing her schooling in India. I like to experience new cuisine and cultures from around the world. My favorite movie is "The Great Escape". My favorite movie director is Alfred Hitchcock in particular his "Strangers on a Train". I enjoy Jogging and playing Cricket, Table Tennis & Chess. Of all of the countries I have visited, I love the climate of Beirut and the peace and beauty of Singapore. I am in a constant learning mode and love to read.
