Northeastern, Highway 210 and 169. Both scenic and twisty, low traffic
density, good road condition. 35w north near Duluth. Road runs through
Jay Cooke State Park. A very nice ride in the spring,summer,and especially
during the fall with all the colors. Bring a fishing pole there are a lot
of lakes in the area. Or bring some money for the casinos both at the begining
and end of the trip. A lot of other shops and small towns to explore. After
wandering through Duluth and its various shops and antique stores and a
visit to the shore of Lake Superior, venture North along Lake Shore then
North Shore Drives for more terrific scenery. Sights along the way
are Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse and more.
