Eastern, Lantern Hill Road. Both twisty and scenic, low traffic density, good road condition. Runs in Ledyard between Route 214 and Route 184 starting at Foxwoods Casino. The road is smooth with some interesting twists and turns, but beware, it is patrolled regularly by the local police department. Take it easy and enjoy the twists and scenery and you should be OK. Also check out Route 214.
Devil's Hopyard State Park. Both twisty and scenic, low traffic density, excellent road condition. State park with twisty roads and scenery similar to North Carolina, too bad it's only a few miles long. It's a state park with a 25 mph speed limit, highly spirited riding could cost you but the pavement is smooth and usually clean. It's often cooler there in the woods than surrounding areas; great place to stop for a picnic. There is other good riding in the area, take a spin around Route 149 and 151.
Eastern, Route 201. Both twisty and scenic, low traffic density, good road condition. Start going south on 201 at Route 138 near Jewett City. It's farmland and boring but patience is rewarded. As you head south, a beautiful set of twists will open before your eyes--some fall away, some decreasing radius, and some quick left/right transitions, and quite hilly.
